I love the fact that BW are open to same-sex relationship. For instance I love my manHawke with Fenris. However, I just could never ever imagine Shep betting for the same team. He´s to ... military. Ill keep him straight for sure, in ME3. Its only going to blurry my own vision of him otherwise

Also, if you were just as atractive as you claim to be, you would know that more men than women would show interest in you openly, even more if you are the alpha type... So it's still not realistic, not enough men interested in you (zero) and too much women (everyone). Looks like a straight teen fantasy to me.
And the example of the astronaut is just so silly I had to laugh, sounded like comic stuff.

I think BW for ME Shep's story were trying to for once move away from the bi main lead when they wrote mshep as straight they kept fshep bi to a degree for past players but they've found out they now can't ever go in a new direction with their main characters and must now make them bi from the start as well get more then 1 bi option in there. BW has already gotten an option of main character representation cut off by the fans and will more then likely get more do/don't rules applied to them by their fans as the years go on from now on.

Except they didn't, if they did decide that, they must have done so relatively late in the
development cycle for Me1, so late in fact that they'd already expended what seems to be a non trivial amount of resources on the development of a bisexual option for MShep along with the ability for him to tell at least one female Li, Liara, in so many words that he's only interested in men which would make ManShep not even bi but fully gay.
Since this was all rather clumsily cut from the first game at the last minute, I don't think the writers ever planned to make Manshep strictly straight from conception, why would they deliberately have wasted their time writing something they knew they'd never use, especially since the overarching plot of the franchise in no way depends on ManShep hooking up with a particular opposite sex Li (unlike for example many JRPGS, where such a
relationship can often be a vital plot point). The only reason I can discern for MShep not being able to be gay/bi until now when considering all the evidence seems to be plain old executive meddling, not essential plot elements.

And why don't you start a new playthrough? a different shepard with different face, class, background, choices...etc. It'd even make the wait more bearable.

For Bioware to imbue the NPCs with a more accurate and personal moral code, would require FAR MORE writing, dialogue and scripting. 

The same could be said about their sexuality.  Of course, the video game medium severely limits full characterization, so it's unavoidable for them to take short cuts.

No it wouldn't. Characters already respond to the player based on whether they agree or disagree with their decision making, and their romances are already dependant on what conversation options you pick. I mean hell, if they wanted to just put it in with the minimum amount of effort required, they could've slapped it onto how you go through their personal mission and left it at that. Having them reject Shepard based on that would require, what, one line of dialogue in a conversation that's already triggered based on the players choices?

Unless squad members stand mute and unflinching whilst Shepard runs around doing whatever the buggering hell s/he pleases - and good grief do we have bigger problems if that's the case - it wouldn't take a whole lot to accomplish.

Your accusations are based on nothing and they are mere insults. They are offensive and unrelated to the discussion. Right now, your failed attempt to use ad hominem, demonstrates how mature you are... and if you were a little bit more educated, then you wouldn't create such a pathetic post in the first place. It's almost like if you didn't know what to say, so you decided to mock him for his age, even though you don't know him at all... and I don't even know why watching porn has anything to do with the discussion in question. Besides, Unbanned has motivated all of his arguments, in all of his posts, and he's done that pretty well. He's been patient enought to reply to almost every single post in the last two pages and he hasnsn't insulted no one... and that, my friend, is a demonstration of mature behaviour.

Oh I'm sure you do.  Of course my theory was always that professed homosexuals are actually bisexuals with a strong lean towards the same sex.  Homosexual exclusivity is very rare from what I can tell, which makes sense because all humans are physiologically heterosexual...
