I'm not really sure what you're asking. Clarify, please.TMA LIVE wrote...

That's weird, because I've been looking at the Tali and Garrus romances in ME3, and they do mention Shepard's gender. And fairly frequently, IIRC.JamieCOTC wrote...

I thought the position was that the VSs and Vega had gender neutral dialogue?
Spoiler: A lot of the VS dialogue refers to what s/he once had w/ Shepard. So it's not as gender neutral as you would think.
Also, in a really great LJ post, Patrick Weekes explains that "If I can in any way avoid having someone mention Commander Shepard's gender, I will do so."
And correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not 100% sure here), but are those not the romances that Weekes did?
Anyway, to be more on-topic with this thread, if Tali/Garrus do not have gender-neutral dialogue, but Vega/VS do, that would seem to suggest that VS and Vega are in fact bi.
You sure they don't mention their gender because they might have been romanced in ME2?
I haven't read the dialogue, but are you sure they aren't gender neutral because Garrus might already be romanced to a woman, instead of a man?
