Remember folks: No need to respond to trolls. I've reported the incident, it should be taken care of soon.

Cheesy is awesome.  Heck I always order extra cheese on my pizzas, I tell them I don't even want to be able to see the other toppings!

What were we talking about?

I can't tell you how, but I can tell you where: Not here. Or maybe you didn't read the original post? Consider this your one and only warning. Play by the rules, or play somewhere else.

Not gonna happen. That Chris' post was hypocritical - he said that BioWare respects everyone's opinion, but they seem to allow only certain ones. Why can't I say what I think if I do it without insults? And yes,I could create another thread, but I think we both know it will be quickly locked. If I don't want S/S,be sure I will say so here. You can report me if you want but that won't stop me.

anyway, despite being happy regardless of who is the bi LI for manshep, i'll state, yet again, for the record that i'd like it to be kaidan. i made a rather lengthy post in the old fftl thread about how i would love to see the character development work for such an option, and i won't repeat it all here (i've turned over a new leaf regarding brevity), but suffice to say i'd be very happy to see that happen.

Could you link me to that post? Would love to read it :D

Mods are asleep often. And once they come and possibly ban me (simply for stating my opinion) I think I will be able to spare two minutes to create another account (and I have mobile IP), So no,you can't stop me.

Knock it off will you. If you don't approve of SS Romance, then simply exit the thread. Priestly posted clearly and it was quoted in the OP of this thread.

@graciegrace: Please don't respond to these trolling attempts, they're just trying to derail the topic. Let's not let them. Thanks.

Then can I create a thread against S/S that won't get locked?

This makes me wonder, how cheesy/sweet is too cheesy/sweet when it comes to s/s romance storylines in the game? I personally want more "heartfelt" interaction in the romance scenes in general. ManShep especially seems like a robot sometimes. Let's see some acting! :wizard:

Edited to add: Better yet, take Javier's advice below.

I'm not a big fan of the cheese, but I can definitely agree with that fact that ManShep seems like a robot sometimes and needs to "lighten up" a little, persay.

Totally supported.

I'm personally wanting Ash as a s/s option as well as a new female squadmate.  I know others have their own preferences.  I hope that there will be options that will make most happy.  Flings would be great too.  I have a difficult time seeing how a romance would work with the new squadmates since you only have a short time to get to know them.  Perhaps a fling would be better but what do I know?   I'm not a writer.

I hope the trolls don't get your forum shut down. I was worried about my own take on the subject being shut down, but it hasn't, though I don't get posts anymore.

One thing I do wonder about is how Bioware will handle bisexuality in previous established LI. There was dialog with both Tali and Kaidan that seemed to indicate that the thought of a same sex relationship had crossed their minds (though the fact taht Tali is a whole other species should probably raise more eyebrows than her gender), but as we all know the option was never given to the player.

Do my fellow ME fans want such characters to come with an explanation for their "mysterious" openness to homosexual relationships, or do we just accept the fact that Bioware suddenly had a change of heart on the third game just go with it (IF we want to)?

Maybe the Quarians have a social taboo against same gender romances, so Tali never was able to work up the nerve to pursue a same sex relationship with female Shepard until now? Or perhaps Kaidan had a religious upbringing and has always avoided the "forbidden" relationships until he met male Shepard?

Regardless of how it's handled, I hope Bioware doesn't continue to cut short Shepard's relationships with his/her crew just because s/he isn't romancing them, and I do want at least one "Aveline-style" relationship option where you can pursue a relationship but s/he turns Shepard down and/or pursues someone else.
