Eh I get 20 rivarly points from Fenris just for recruiting him as a mage. And it's only what? 10 rivalry points? It's nothing. It's perfectly IC for Anders to get upset over being rejected.

disliking it is fine. I just get irritated when people act like being slapped with rivalry was unique to Anders. (not that you're doing that.) when I can't avoid the Fenris points at all and the lowest I can make them is around 15.

Plus Anders is the easiest companion to max either way.

FemHawke has the same response, yes.

The rivalry points you receive from rejecting him in that conversation are utterly trivial and inconsequential, also. I maxed out his friendship regardless some time into act two, and I never actually brought him anywhere other than mandatory quests and the deep roads. It's not a big deal.

There is. The first broken heart has Hawke say something along the lines of "let's keep this professional" it's too bad that wasn't one of the options once Anders started hitting on Hawke.

Well, I can't say I liked the "keep it professional" line either, but mostly because I have to wonder what Hawke wants to keep professional, exactly. They're not professonals. They don't work together. And, well, they spend the rest of the game making merry chum banter together anyway.

But I'm rambling, so I should shut up.

True! Vega is a completely new character. The new guy. No reveals, no retcons. The developers can do whatever they want with him. Why wouldn't they make him be a m/m option? Too late in development? Did being bisexual not "fit the character"? Too much of a brother to be gay? Did Freddie Prinze Jr. refuse? Most of the answer I can think of are offensive.

LI's for S/S? That sounds more to me like LI's built from the ground up for S/S and not for shared romance.

False. It was never planned, written, or voiced. The audio files in ME1 are male Shepard saying female Shepard's lines and vice versa.

No s/s romances for Kaidan and Ash weren't cut. Meer and Hale just voiced both parts of the script in case the devs decided to use it for a s/s romance. The devs decided not to.

Well.   That means I'd probably get the wrong idea about you. My point is, it's still very easy to interpret her behaviour the wrong way. Or maybe I'm just that full of myself. That's another possibility.

I do hope there are extensive friendship paths for Steve and Samantha for o/s players. It seems like MShep and Samantha become good friends, playing chess and all.

False. It was never planned, written, or voiced. The audio files in ME1 are male Shepard saying female Shepard's lines and vice versa.

But it was considered at one point and not pursued only because of time constraints.

For some reason they found time for FemShep and Liara though. And for 7 romances in ME2. I don't know what's worse, having a lower priority than froglike alien or the developers having other reasons not to include m/m.
