How would you feel like whether, besides Steve, we got not Kaidan or James, but Diana's fling male counterpart?
I want an actual squadmate. So not very pleased.

If a freaking news reporter one-night-stand Diana Allers can have a unique face, Cortez better have too, that's all I'm saying

I know BW will never release any
spoilers but I would just love them to send a wee tweet saying "1 s/s
romance" or "everyone gets at least 2". Surely that wouldn't ruin
anything? Please BW? Lol

I just watched the voice cast reveal video and I was about to make pretty much the exact same post. I will seriously be furious if Steve ends up being the only LI with a character creator looking face.
I'm also very sad we don't even get a glimpse of Kaidan. I mean, it's not like we don't know he's going to be there in ME3 XD. I have certain suspicions about this though.

Given she's s/s exclusive, perhaps not! We can't ever have a bi female who might possibly even hint at being more dudely than the PC, but perhaps, just perhaps, it might occur to them that an f/f exclusive character doesn't have to appeal to their default concept of what the male gamer wants.
Personally, I just want her to not be white. The franchise keeps getting suspiciously more pale with every installment, and even Kaidan and Ash look awfully pasty in the promo shots compared to their ME1 selves...
Actually, they're getting both paler and blacker lol. Anderson looks darker than he did in ME1 while indeed Ash & Kaidan look paler. Add ME2 to that - there was totally black Jacob, totally white Miranda, asian Kasumi. Urhm, what happened to the concept of mixed races with few people looking like 1 race (no matter white, black or asian)? In ME1 Anderson (mixed, on the black side) and Kaidan (mixed, on the white side + some hint of asian heritage in eyes) represented it quite well. But since ME2, it's like they're backtracking to cast made of modern representatives of each race.Quething wrote...

Too bad the lesbian isn't a squadmate AND Latina...
Although I don't think the actress was Latina, though.

If Diana has a unique face, I don't think Steve and Sam won't. Also, may I ask what these suspicions of yours are? Maybe you thought the same as I did (or maybe not).

"'I'm gonna' give it to me SO hard.' Here's that Diana Allers character info you're looking for! g4.tv/yVRQ60 @G4TV @Bioware #MyIGN"
You can keep her on the Normandy
You can kick her from the Normandy (apparently)
And yeah you can romance her...
AND
"I think you can romance me with a man or a woman. We’ll see when the game comes out"

My suspicions may be ridiculous or just me being paranoid, but I can't help but notice that certain characters that 'draw' players' attention (Diana and her 'pretty' face and outfit, despite her unimportant role in the game) get the spotlight, while other characters that interest us (Steve, Kaidan and Sam) are so absent in all footage that it's like it's been done on purpose. I wouldn't be surprised (however ridiculous my thought is, I never said it wasn't) if they hid these characters as much as possible because of their current LI status in the game (Steve is gay=pretend he doesn't exist=avoid fan rage until after the game is released and everyone has bought the game- including close minded fans that would go 'I won't buy it if so and so are s/s). Chances of Kaidan being bi are getting higher from where I'm standing.
Don't attack me for my silly thoughts, you asked XD
