I think that reporter is bascially only there because they wanted Chobot (nerd ****** bait) in the game so they face-mapped her exact fae and body (think Felicia Day Hardy in DA2).  If they give Samantha a unique face...then we can properly rage.

I'm kinda "meh" on his face, I agree the beta face looked waaaaaaaay better.  He doesn't have to look super-pretty but at least TRY to make him look unique, Bioware.

Too be honest NONE of the males LIs have great or even very good hair. I am not saying it is BAD just nothing that will make me turn my head. It pretty much makes it mandatory that these male LIs have nice asses to get Shepard's attention. Just saying.

Hell Shep doesn't have good hair. (Thankfully the one useable hairstyle the Mohawk will be available in default games). And the bleh greasy style doesn't look so damn greasy anymore.

No, we can start raging already. That was precisely my point. She's nerd ****** bait, but the S/S male romance option had to be made in the basic character creator. It's kind of bulls***, IMO. It's not that he looks BAD, it's that the effort put into him is really getting under my skin. Every other Shepard, male and female (both straight and gay femShep) gets at least ONE romance option that is a unique character model. Unless we get Vega or Kaidan, this is seriously just not going to fly with me, personally.

Has anyone found any videos from the demo? (preferably with Kaidan in it?). I found two on youtube, one with custom femshep and one with Sheploo, but they both only have 10 minutes of gameplay and both have Ashley (who looks a little better than before. The faces move a lot better than in the leaked beta)

I'm sure if it had been mined, it'd be all over the internet. Given that the beta has been out for ~12 hours it's possible nobody can get the .tlk files.

Wow. I just saw the new Cortez pictures. Is he becoming an overtly Latino character along with Vega and the now-promoted-as-Latina Ashley? If his look isn't the product of game lighting, it makes me wonder if we are going to start seeing troll threads by Official Straight WHITE Male Gamers (Trademark) complaining about the Latinos taking over Mass Effect. Political correctness ruining immersion. Yadda yadda.

Here's hoping that Samantha is a White blonde for balance. And Jewish.

Not sure if it's the character creator itself, but he looks basic. Not bad. I PREFER how he looks now than in the beta. But I'm annoyed.

Don't know about that, the Shepard that guy messed around with in the CC looked like he could have been modified to look exactly like Cortez.
