Yes I'm sure we would all be totally okay if they removed Cortez from the game and gave us an elcor to romance instead.
Why must it be instead, why not give us some more choices and yes even an Elcor would preferable to Cortez, at least for me. If i cant have anyone remotely pretty or sexy I'd much rather have an alien, even an Elcor, besides every other kind of romance already gets at least one Alien option anyway.
I imagine an Elcor could make a pretty devastating squad mate with some heavy weapons mounted on his back (isn't that also what the codex says Elcor do if they must fight) and they do look rather cuddly.

It reads the same thing for Ashley though, and we know she's romanceable to manShep. Hmmm.

Your Shep imported well from what I can see. I hear some horror stories about other Sheps importing... not so good lolFoxHound109 wrote...

Ehh, I'm glad I switched to Sheploo. At least I don't have to play a roulette whether my Shep will look good in the next game or not. I'm really surprised there are sometimes such big differences in CC when importing from ME2. After ME1 importing problems, I thought BW would avoid it happening again, but it sound like it's just as bad for some people, if not worse. You're lucky Foxy!

Incidentally, Finis Valorum, if you're done having your hissy fit, there is an option for expressing wake-sex attraction in the game without telling Cortez you're into him.
I'm guessing you're talking about the "waiting for the perfect man" line? That's still in the same conversation with Cortez, which is what bothers Finis Valorum.. I think.
But really, Finis, you're letting your disappointment get the best of you.
I feel like hugging Cortez now, for some reason.

Then I guess ME3 is indeed a marginal improvement since I will finally get to play a celibate gay guy, huzzah!
Did you get this tidbit of info from the not quite final leak or from the new demo though? in the former case I'll hold my breath a little bit longer to see if said option actually made it into the final game.
And no matter what we're still being royally screwed over in the actractiveness department since every other option gets at least someone pretty.

I think.
It is indeed, if that means I must let Cortez think I'm into him, I just knew that previous statement would be too good to be true.
So I still won't even get to play a celibate gay guy, that's back to being a major disappointment for me.

This.
I think Fenris looks masculine some think he looks like a twink. *shrugs* YMMV.
Sadly this isn't DA where even if I didn't like his face replacing it would be pretty much a non-issue. *sighs*

Good for you, but there's already plenty of pretty boys (okay, so far just Kaidan in ME3 but i do count at least Thane and Jacob as well) in the game that are all going to be unavailable solely based on the gender of my character.
Not looks, not actions, just gender and only gender.
In the absense of any other m/m romance then Cortez is it really too much too ask to just be able to express a same sex preference at any other point in the game, like when turning down the new Tali and Liara ninjamances.

I know with some love and care I could mold Anders into anything I desired even though I wasn't too thrilled with his default looks.
Fenris already had a cute face by default, it's just the elven body change compared to the previous game that took some serious getting used to.
So, yeah Bioware finally supporting modding with ME3 might be a solution too.

According to the script, Tali is only a continuing romance from ME2, so no worries there. Liara, though. I look forward to shutting down her creepy advances for the THIRD time.

It's not too much to ask, but there's nothing we can do at this point. I say let's just wait till we find out all s/s options.Finis Valorum wrote...

Yeah, but no matter how many women you turn down the game still considers ManShep to be straight as an arrow (not even just asexual) unless, apperently, you actively express an interest in the only gay guy, even if you do not consider him attractive at all.
Okay, at this point I could probably even live with an asexual option, I just don't want the game assuming my Mansheps are straight as an arrow until the final end.

I remember playing my lone gay Shep through LotSB, and that moment during the reunion where it looked like a definite possibility she was going to get all up in his stuff.Red by Full Metal Jacket wrote...

Uncomfortable!
At least if there is no Kaidan, I won't have to actually take him to the end of the series. If you're going to have to save the galaxy alone, you may as well just not save it at all, hm?
