I think that there was a little bit of leading by Shepard, though, don't you? I mean, it's not like he was sending the consort any signals that the aquarium in her chamber (what are those things? they were on the ceiling in Chora's Den too) would not be seeing any action during that exchange.

Parasini is weird. It's like they wanted to make her lesbian, but then they chickened out and were afraid people would still think she was lesbian, so they make her give you a harmless kiss on the cheek at the end. It makes no sense. (I know she repeats it in ME2, but she's like a distant cousin or aunt at that point. I mean, there's no sexuality in it that I can see, from any angle.)

I don't remember Shiala. Was she the one who turns green in ME2? If so, meh. She's basically half-plant after that crap on Feros. If a plant brushes your face while you're walking in the forest, are you going to get mad at the plant?

There's also absolutely non-zero possibility that Kaidan or Vega (or both!) will be available in ME3 from the beginning! :happy: So don't get super pessimistic yet Finis, it's only about 3 weeks now till we find out! You may be psitively surprised! :happy:

Your Shep imported well from what I can see. I hear some horror stories about other Sheps importing... not so good lol

Ehh, I'm glad I switched to Sheploo. At least I don't have to play a roulette whether my Shep will look good in the next game or not. I'm really surprised there are sometimes such big differences in CC when importing from ME2. After ME1 importing problems, I thought BW would avoid it happening again, but it sound like it's just as bad for some people, if not worse. You're lucky Foxy!

I don't. It's been a while, but I honestly don't remember having the impression that my Shepard was leading her on. Mostly, if I don't pick up on something, then my Shep doesn't either. We're equally dense, you see.
And I don't remember any aquarium, but again, the last time I've seen the consort, I left her chambers pretty traumatized.

If a plant walks up to me and smiles, offering me sex while rubbing itself against me, then yeah, I'll get mad at it.
Thankfully, I have never gotten that wasted.

Some of those hugs are pretty innocent,yes, some not so much.

If Bioware does another shooter game I'd be okay with the game by default assuming and treating your character as asexual, unless, you, the player, actually express that kind of interest in any of the available characters male or female. since we apparently get a copy pasted Sky gay romance toggle, meaning that to even attempt to be gay you must likeley make some serious effort, so why not just have the game by default assume you're not interested in any romance gay or straight unless you actually indicate so yourself.
Heck their own precious telemetry data seems to back up this approach most players don't seem to do any romance at all and they've always been completely optional anyway.

I'm also just comparing Cortez to other characters already in the franchise and the all bi approach of DA2 didn't hurt anyone as far as I can tell

Yeah, well there's one thing they can still do about his face and outfit and that's crowdsource it, make modding relatively easy (at least as easy as it was in DA2) and allow your users to fix it themselves.

Probably you're pretty close to being right. Maybe the way the whole sequence is framed (like that ass-shot when she tells the front desk to send you in) makes it seem to me like Shepard is walking into sex with open arms. My gay Shepard was not interested of course, but I don't think he was really surprised to have her get a little affectionate (certainly there's no way to get him to be all "See this? Hands off." to her).

To me, Shepard would have to be a bit dense to not at least be on guard for some advances, walking into the madam's private chambers and all, sorry.

I'm not sure what it is. I thought it was supposed to be her sex bed, but it's enclosed, and there's like mini couches or something in it. (I just called it aquarium because it's a blue tank and, well, she is a fish.) I thought it was just where she took her clients to consort with, but then I saw those same placeables hanging upside down on the ceiling at Chora's Den.

Maybe, but it seems like there will at least be some reciprocation, so it cannot possibly be that bad. :-)

I will advise, if you happen to be gay and tell a guy you're interested in him, if all he ever says to you is "let me think about it": MOVE ON. If he has to think about it that much, he cannot be worth it.

I'm tossing up whether to try to make a new custom one or just use the default that I've had for two games.

I'll be able to check out the character creator when the demo finally loads. It's been downloading for over six hours.
