For what it's worth, it's possible they'll be more inclusive in future Mass Effect games now.

At this point that's probably all we can hope for but come the next title I'll wait and see first, they will not be getting a pre order out of me in the forseeable future again.
For what it's worth I hope the controls on the PC aren't actually too awful so I can at least enjoy the game, for what it is, with FemShep but it looks as though ManShep is indeed a lost cause at this point, at least for me (which is a darned shame as I'd hoped for something better from this company).

I'm still holding out the vain hope that them not saying anything is more proof of him being Bi, really theres more "reason" to say he isn't then he is, if he wasn't and they said then they'd keep all the "character integrity" people thrilled and it's not like those who have played 1+2 (those that like Kaidan and thought they saw some tension that should get resolution) would not buy the game for it.

Someone should check out on the 6th (3 days before me) if a new MShep and a MShep save which they have been friendly to Kaidan, if he still maintains those animations or if they have "refined" them out since the demo. If he's not it's probally going to leave me a bit sad after all that, my shepard will never be able to resolve those feelings by saying how he does feel, guess that'll be the motivation for jumping into bed with Steve after knowing him a week.

@Criz-zone I love those pictures and look at little sheps N7 pyjamas...I want. Please don't end the series.
PS. did you ever do a Shep getting a piggyback ride off Wrex after?

I know this has been mentioned here before... but I reckon this is the best sign for hope. When asked if the VS was s/s available on Twitter (the original tweeter added... "I know you won't respond"), awesome Patrick Weekes posted:

I think the only reason you could cling to hope is to say that there are a ton (relatively, at least) of lesbian sequences. Liara, Kelly, Samantha, and the reporter. Which is great, but it seems to me a bit extreme on the equity scale. Truthfully, however, your hope was never anything more than a fantasy, based on nothing but wishful thinking.

To me, I think the situation was that they decided to include s/s romances, so they included Steve and Samantha. Any lesbian romances in addition to that are incidental to the "s/s support" mantra they were throwing around earlier.

To be fair, demo Shepard is kind of a dick anyway. I can't imagine anybody is really going to want woo this grumpy-face Shepard.

(As far as the pilot, there's not enough of him to tell, but I wasn't impressed. Even if gay Shepard were somehow to miraculously move forward into ME3, he'd remain single for yet another game. But I'm almost positive now he will be replaced by chaste-and-straight Shepard.)

Didn't someone (from Bioware) Actually confirm there'd be at least 2 of each months ago. there's already more then 2 f/f and m/f but it's only one m/m so far.
Maybe my hope isn't based on much more then fantasy, although the point of that bit was really from a marketing prespective, can you honestly see a bunch of gay men Cre-order Pancelling when it's confirmed theres only 1 m/m choice in a series they've bought into which had 0 from the start.
Although I don't see anything inheritly wrong with trying to read between the lines, so to speak and having a fantasy in a game.

I'm sure you'd be a barrel of joy in the situation, knowing you're hour is nigh and being stuck to do anything about it. I would (barring impending doom and vaporization via reaper lasers), he's moody sure but he doesn't quite achieve emo status of so many other moody/broody leads.

Off topic: Is there a meme of "I'm chargin' ma lazers" with a reaper? Just came to me saying it then. Imagine if that was in the game....Reapers - A sentient AI race made from Memes gone wrong. Did I just discover the ending for ME3, the answers to what they are exactly?

I don't think so.  They said s/s options are now avaiable but didn't say how many.

If Steve is the only option, I'll...grumble about it for a while and then still purchase the game Day 1.  Bioware has got me and my wallet by the cajones, even after the terribad DA2.

Certainly I don't think he was mean or brooding, but he was a bit of an ass.

Almost none of my Shepards would have been an ass in that situation, I can tell you that. And they definitely wouldn't treat Anderson that way.

On the whole, it didn't feel like my Shepard at all. It just felt like somebody else's Shepard, with my Shepard's voice and face. (Only my renegade Shepard could possibly behave this way, but I wasn't even choosing the renegade options!)

Maybe the intro conversations will change depending on input flags in the full game. I hope so. If not... oh, well. Shooting people is still fun. And some of the sound effects are really awesome, even though the range is all over the place. So it won't all be bad.

Depends if they qualify romances like that. You know Liara was S/S option for both genders as Asari are genderless. So you have Steve and Liara.

Also Chobot and Kelly are already bi. Add Samantha to this we have 5 S/S options.

How many straight guys have? VS, Garrus or Tali if they survived and Vega.

And you are whining like a Quarian with tummy ache.

Just finished the demo. Well...that was short. And I'm having some graphical issues, but I guess it's just my system. Still, the lighting was off in places. There was something missing with the sound as well.
All in all, combat is incredibly easy but very enjoyable. Will take a bit of time getting used to.
