Very generic face and voice.  Looks like one of dozens generic NPCs.  You'd never guess he even had a backstory.....  If he is the only s/s option, I can't see myself buying the game.

I agree. I'm just trying to say they don't really compare, the differences between Biowares character driven romances and Fables random ones. I'll just leave it at that, I don't think reaver was intended to be a negative portrayal of bi sexuality, it was just his Dorian Grey complex, but that is as far as lionhead goes really for s/s within a story, for good or bad.

Was it the part where you fell into a coma for 5 months? Or when the big bad the game had been building up came and went?

Because people will wail and gnash at the teeth at one of the few openly gay couples being into beastility. We both know that what would happen. Better off to avoid the headache.

Pretty sure Reaver is just bad all around. Everything about him is supposed to be creepy to me.

I'm genuinely surprised.

First thing I say is I do not know if it is true. BUT...

It would not surprise me. In America Walmart sells more of just about everything than any specialty shop can ever hope to match. It would not surprise me if you provided stats that showed that Walmart outsells Best Buy and Gamestop put together on ME3 sales.

And Walmart is not shy about telling publishers of material aimed at kids to tone down their content. I would argue that ME3 is an "M" rated game so it should get a pass like movies do but then EA had to go and make us mature gamers look like idiots and hypocrits with their "Your Mom will hate this game" ads for that other big rated "M" game that got released last year.

I can only give hearsay from the local Gamestop manager that one GOOD thing Walmart does is insist that the price of "normal" video game releases NOT go over $59.99 and that new systems should have a version that sells for less than $300.

I am in the process of making an evil pro-Cerberus Shepard just so I can have a save where the Collector base does not get blown up. I used the comic book to build my save because I am NOT going to replay both games and I chose to romance Kaidan AND sacrifice him at Virmire. In ME2 I still have Kaidan's picture on my desk and I wonder if there are any other ways that ME2 acknowledges that your LI is dead.

I will wait to see how it plays out in ME3. I do not want detailed spoilers just some acknowledgement from one of you guys who could actually read the leaked script without going insane that it will be acknowledged in ME3 in some cute and/or meaningful way.

I didn't even know who Cortez was until people pointed him out.

I know he is Cortez because I turn on Subtitle and It show his name whe he report to Shepard.

This "Cortez" is such a major disappointment. Can't we at least have Vega?

It's... acknowldeged. 

Whether or not you think it'll be enough depends on how satisfied you are with some dialogue. 

It's not gigantic, but it's there.

I like Cortez. And really, if the fact that the s/s romance isn't implemented exactly the way you wanted is enough to prevent you from buying the game, then yeah, it probably isn't the game for you.

I do agree that token romance is not a substitute for squadmate romance. But it's nice that it's there for the people who will enjoy it.

I think I'm going to stick to the belief that we'll get Cortez, Vega and Kaidan. And I won't be convinced otherwise until I see leaked files or see the game for myself XD

With the multiple female s/s option being I would be shocked if Kaidan is not "bi." Sadly I feel that Vega will not be keeping any of my male Shepards warm next month.

Liara and Kelly are leftovers, and you only have some tentative suggestion that the reporter may possibly be available for a lesbian relationship.

Liara is not a "leftover." Players will be able to start a "new" romance with her in ME3.
