Maybe importing the MP characters will just give you more options for the endings but you can still achieve a bad one if you want? (I know I will want to try out the bad endings at least once). And I'm guessing that if you deliberately pick every wrong choice you can in the main game importing won't make a huge difference.

Can somebody link me to somewhere that has the ending spoilers, please? I read them some time ago in a group but I now lost the link and can't find it even when I search :/. I want to know what 'the best' ending is considered to be.

I'm going to be as vague as humanly possible.

The ending choices aren't good or bad, per se, but they have degrees of 'goodness' and 'badness' depending on how well you've done in the game. It seems like two or three degrees of 'success' per ending.

But whether it's 'good' is very subjective.

There is a main choice at the end, and how that choice plays out (and what it does to the galaxy) is dependent on how high your Readiness score was.

I also really hope someone clears this up (though I still won't be sure until a Dev says it) if the 75 points you get from importing a level 20 character will decay over time or if they'll be a permanent boost for all the Shepards you will ever start, ever XD. Someone said that those 75 points are permanent, unlike the points you get from simply playing matches in MP.

I read the endings once, so I'm already spoiled, basically, I just can't remember the specifics. I'd really like to read them again though so I can decide which one I will try to achieve (who knows maybe the 'best ending' is not the best for me so I won't try as hard) :S.

So basically you can get all endings regardless but depending on how right your choices were the endings will play out as planned or will backfire?

To the other part, bad as in badly written or bad as in tragic? No spoilers, please.

I can see why Bioware suggested they'd make some players angry.

Personally, I love the endings as literary themes, they basically tie into the *whole* 'big-picture' of the series and the questions and debates we've had since ME.

But *if* there's no way to make some of them 'more successful' through doing things in-game, I think people are going to be angry that they're a bit bittersweet. The choices are, in themselves, fascinating and diverse - but they're also weighty.

What Bioware said was true, though - there won't be any games set after ME3. The way things can change is just too huge, in a number of different ways depending on player choices.

 You didn't tell me anything.

I am trying not to spoil it for people reading this thread. As knowning those ending really ruined my enjoyment from ME3 great deal.

Edit: I guess Elite outlined it pretty well. I also like the endings for their novelity but...

I even get points just by playing?
That's pure garbage. I've been playing like crazy. I'll have a ****load of points, then.

@Elite - that's excellent. Personally, I want to be a total wreck after finishing the game. Don't disappoint me, BioWare.

They don't backfire, essentially - you always win - but the consequences are somewhat bad (depending on the ending you pick). Some people have suggested they'll be less bad (or even good/neutral) if your readiness score is high enough.

(They could be bad for every possible ending, and nothing might affect that - we just don't know if there are alternate versions of the ending decisions yet)

It's really hard to be this vague.

Oh, and it kinda does tie into the LIs, with a couple of the endings.

Though I'm not sure if Bioware are doing written text epilogues, like the DA/Jade Empire series. Possibly not?

I hope they don't let us wonder what happened to character X. If everything concluded in game it would be cool. If not written text epilogue will come in handy.

Still no game ending can reach the suckage levels of NWN2 or DA 2.Posted Image

I'd like a final conversation with everyone on the Normandy to see what their plans are for after the war, and an opportunity to suggest Shepard's (even if it's just hypothetical).

Even better would be to do it afterwards like DAO's throne room conversations, but that'd be tricky to do in ME3's case.

I demand a tear jerker final speech with squadmates, like DA:O.

Morrigan's speech on friendship really plug a dagger into my heart everytime I hear it... God I loved that woman (as a friend of course).

I think DA:O handled the epilogue perfectly. If your Shepard and squadmates survive then why not have something along the lines of the throne room in DA:O (I'll even take written text like DA:O's even though that seems a little out-dated somehow but it'd be better than nothing)? And just like how you didn't get that if your Warden died, same thing with ME3.

@SolidBeast: the 75 or 6 x 75 may not effect it that much. Thread in general listing war assets have 100's and 1000's listed as value, some are less but there are so many possible bonuses from actions It makes 75 from promoting an MP character or 6 seem small.
Just thought I'd say that not much point in saying anything else now. Whether it helps or not.
Threads getting major spoilery, off topic and repeated over an over on the page, thanks for shattering my hope of Shepard riding a Unicorn with Kaidan on a rainbow...with a certain person not present.

Is it wrong that I am hoping for a leak a week or more before release?

 Hello,

Ive been reading through the topic but I couldn't find what evidence was found to suggest that Kaiden would be a S/S option.  Was is the leaked script with his gender neutral response as the only supporting evidence?

I caved at the end of mass effect 2 and had a relationship with Tali... Do you think that will cause negative issues on the outcome of the story in this game if I end up starting a new relationship?

@Ric - I hope you're right. I still think it's stupid, though.

@Game_Fan - don't worry, it's a matter of days.

I'm sure there will be a leak

I don't think so.

You'll probably have to dump Tali when she brings it up...but I don't forsee any other troubles.

I'm pretty sure there will be no more leaks, or if there is it will not address my main issue. Unless of course one of those weather baloons falls into the right hands such as most people on this thread.

Can't someone perform some kind of pagan ritual, summon a small twister and just dump it in one of our backyards?

*shakes fist at London* damn you, why must you be so far away....

After Horizon I was like, bleh, forget you, Alenko! And so I had a relationship with Jack, Tali, and Liara (3 separate playthroughs, mind). Felt . Decided to stay away from Miranda as she was in favor of implanting a control chip in Shep's brain. Got past that later, but cba to start a 4th playthrough. Unless I get Kaidan for my MaleShep, I'll never have had a satisfying relationship in ME. Grar.

Well you can always steal Cerberus' bugs and place them in Kaidan's room, shower... Ask EDI to link them directly to your private terminal and voila Posted Image. M.

I am interested in this too. Is it at least possible to get some kind of happy ever after with your LI? Does it depend on who your LI is (I've currently got one femshep loyal to Liara and one who didn't romance anyone yet who I'm saving for Ashley *fingers crossed*)? PM or link would be awesome.
