@Elite I agree...so long as it's a well written "I liked/lusted after you since Eden Prime" there is only 12 days to the official release can we please stay away from starting fights about human, or alien in some cases, biology/sexuality.

Perhaps I wasn't specific enough... Peoples' "sexual inclination" is fluid and can change over time. In either direction. And then back again. I've seen it.

Exactly. Sexuality is fluid for some people and for others it isn't. Its as simple as that. We are a diverse race.

Anyway, I am very happy to hear that the VS will acknowledge Eden Prime. And I am assuming there will be a conversation about Horizon as well. Should be interesting, especially if it sort of lines up with my headcanon for my lesbian Shep, Sonja Gaia!

Sure. If you are a bisexuals. One day you feel like doing the opposite sex, another you might feel like doing the same sex.  Some bisexual have preferences, some may not fully realize or understand their bisexuality, some will choose to engage in relationships with only one gender, but they are still bi. It does not work that way with hetero or homosexuals, and thinking that it does is harmful in the long run.

In my experience... actually, it does . On the other hand, I see where you're going with the second part of your sentence and I see how it can be tricky, or how my argument can be misused. Let me just say, all change that I'm talking about is voluntary, not forced from the outside. I thought that was clear from what I've said... M.

We won't get any LI info until someone who's played the game tells us. So, crossing my fingers! Either way I will adore the game, I know that much already. Getting Kaidan would be the icing on the cake

Yes, I agree, I understand.

In my book, it shouldn't be a choice between a) or or c) option(s) but rather just "I fell in love in that-and-that person". Period. Everything else shouldn't be anybody elses concern. Sadly, that isn't true in society we live in today. Maybe it's different in 2186 .

Of course, the choice of "persons you feel attracted to most of the time" defines you as gay, bi, str8, whatever. But for me it's just a label to explain in one word to other people in one world what I like most of the time. M.

I was looking something up and ran across this quote from the thread confirming DA2 romances.

That was on page 104 of the thread.  Now granted at that time we hadn't confirmed that the DA2 cast as all-bi and my opinion was partially derived from information from David Gaider about the viability of gay only romances.  So I was understandably pessimistic.  I am so glad that is appears that I will be proven wrong and in such a short amount of time.  I wish I was wrong like this all the time.

That was before the DA 2. Like me, maybe DA 2 convinced devs putting in gay exclusive character might not a bad idea.

Unlike DA, ME has luxury of non-squadmate crew members whose always around to talk. Also there was a line where Samantha turns down Male Shepard, saying she prefers woman.

DA2 fanboi rage mostly based on accidently hitting the Anders or Fenris. There wasn't a huge issue about Zevran.

Anyway, like I said putting in a gay/lesbian NPC, maybe in some sense easier/cleaner than listening all those bigots and their hate spam.

I still remember those idiots who're bragging about killing Zevran on forums.

Their lost tho'. Zevran one of the funniest guys on DA:O. Also if you have Morrigan in your teams all the time, it is better than having Leliana. I love Leliana but her religious nonsense banter started to get on my nerves after couple of runs. Zevran/Morrigan or Zevran/Wynne never gets old.

And I hardly think your opinion trumps Bioware's. If they give a character dialogue, then the character has that dialogue - whether you agree with it or not.

Other than that, DA2 romances tend to glitch. I never talk with Anders on any run if I didn't have to so can't comment on his dialog but on some runs Merrill poped up on my Hawke's house while she/he was romancing with Isabela.

Also there was that special convo with Anders (I watched on a video or saw a screenie about it) you have two gold heart on broken heart option. According to those people it wasn't a romance convo.

How can a person can accidently click huge golden heart by accident is also beyond my understanding.

He wasn't straight in ME1. He wasn't anything in ME1.

Liking women doesn't equal being straight.

Up until a character says "I'm straight", or clearly turns down someone of the same sex, we don't know whether they're straight or not.

Also it might be a good idea to turn off the caps key.
