Bioware's statements now surely supercede statements they made before. 

He's very clearly intended to be available to both genders of Shepard in ME3. 

This has Bioware's approval. They wanted this to happen, even if they said the opposite two games ago. If you waged war on all the game's inconsistencies in characterisation you'd be here for weeks. 

It's obvious we aren't going to agree.

If you can't accept that Kaidan will be an option for both Shepards in ME3, find another place to vent.

I'd like proof of this alleged bioware statement that he was never meant to be bisexual as I had read over and over again that he was origionally meant to be bi.

And anyone who says that Kaidan does not show interest in male shepard has never played a male shepard that is overly friendly to Kaidan. End of story.

Oh the guy with the Garrus avatar is whining about characters being ruined because they developed feelings for Shepard that weren't there before.

At least ManShep won't have to practically force Kaidan to hop in bed with him like FemShep has to do with poor Garrus.

I HAVE PLAYED MALE A SHEPARD AND KAIDAN CUS ASHLEY ISN'T ALIVE IN ANY GAMES.

Just out of curiosity,

You have no problem with bi-Ashley or bi-Vega but bi-Kaidan? (Keep in mind that bi situation ain't offically confirmed yet. So maybe you are worrying over nothing unless you have 100% proof about situation)

If so, I understand your frustration. Probably most guys here will be in your position if Bioware would turn ME1 bi-Kaidan to straight on third game.

However it's Bioware's decision. You can blame them for chasing pink money. If they really would listen guys on this thread there would be bi/gay characters at least in ME2. ME2 shows no evidence of bi characters other than Kelly which fills the lesbian fantasy role of Liara. Why turning/declaring VS characters bi while there are two s/s exclusive characters? I am wondering answer of this question as much as you do. Seriously doubt this thread have huge impact on that decision tho'.

I HAVE KAIDAN ALIVE, BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE FOR ASH TO BI ANYWAY BECAUSE SHE IS RELIGIOUS AND HAS A FAMILY TRADITION. I DONT LIKE BIOWARE CHANGING OLD CHARACTERS. IM OKAY WITH STEVE AND VEGA BEIN BI OR ANOTHER NEW MEMBER

I was thinking on why I'm so hooked on MaleShep/Kaidan. I blame the way they act around each other. Little things, like the fact that Shep calls him Kaidan in the demo after not seeing him for so long, instead of Alenko. The way Kaidan talked about Shep to that survivor on Horizon. The way he talked to Shep, for that matter, about how much he suffered after losing him. The way they look at each other. And of course Sbarge's voice acting. He could get you to ship just about anything.
