A simple "yes" or "no" would have sufficed, but instead we got a convoluted post that tried its best not to tell us anything. Meanwhile, Chobot brags about being an LI for both Sheps. It's BS.

Say what?!

The reporter Diana Allers is played by Chobot and said she 'thinks' the character is a romance/fling for both Sheps.

I think it's probably their desire to keep PR as quiet as possible before the game is released, because there's already gonna be a media **** storm about Sam/Steve as it is.

I know this is why, that just makes it even worse!  Grow a pair of balls/ovaries and face the damn music. They stood up for Hepler they can stand up for us too.

My canon Shep, Adrik, waiting paitently to have Kaidan back on his...ship ;)

So I said I was going to leave the forums till the game came out after yesterday's "spoilers" but I couldn't stay away lol! Imagine my suprise to find out it was all trolling trolololol

I still think the VS is s/s at this point.

my shep still has lighter skin, looks older (way way older if imported into ME3) and has green eyes instead of blue

That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

@Lukas

Nothing you said contradicted what I said so I fail to see the point of your post. I know how to read between the lines and search for spoiler information as well as you do, the point is we shouldn't have to be doing it at all when straight romances are KNOWN.

I think it's probably a marketing decision. If they gave an official "yes" answer, then homophobes who were on the fence wouldn't buy the game. Once the game is actually out and people have had a taste of the gameplay, even the most virulent homophobe has a good chance of staying if it's good enough. For the people interested in the S/S aspect of the game, refraining from giving us a clear answer won't really dissuade the majority from buying the game. If anything, it makes us *more* apt to buy the game early. For Bioware, keeping S/S LIs under wraps until the last possible moment is win/win (for them) :(.

Because a certain subset whines when the have to share their toys (Hello DA2!).  Just imagine when they can't romance them at all?!

It's going to be so fun

And normally she wouldn't be allowed to say even that. But I guess rules are "different" when it's about hot action with Chobot...

Steve and Samantha are non-squadmate side characters that are not really part of the story.  Honestly, I don't think a lot of FemShep players are going to be crying that they can't romance Steve.

How large do you think the number of people that would do that really is, though? And why is not angering a bunch of lowlife homophobes more important than making a bunch of hopeful fans finally have some peace of mind about the issue? We've been patient and civil about this, unlike some entitled whiners on here and see how it pays off?

The gay characters aren't main, wow big surprise there, I totally didn't know that!  :innocent:

Also welcome to the forums didn't realize you were new.  Because while there may not be a lot(and I never said there would be so whatevers) they will be there and I will drink their delicious tears.

Chris has tweeted a few days ago: "We have stated that romances from ME1 & ME2 will return in ME3 and that there will be new options as well."

For you, Makenzie, this means: I want to contradict you, I think you can't read between the lines, I think you can't search for spoiler information as well as I can.

Excuse me while I get a brush for the dripping venom.

Jezus, Mary and Joseph, take it out on a punchbag, not me. I didn't do anything wrong. Shame on you.

I've only been able to skim today's revelations a *little bit* and I'm unfamiliar with Klace's history. Is he a good source? I just ask because Chris' post seems an awful lot like an "oh crap, CMA."

Would you like to place a bet?  'Cause I can take you up on that offer (and win).

He accurately spoiled DA2, but that's all.

Nor maleshep players for Samantha. I am surprised you don't know that yet. Lesbian action is always hot for them, they don't need her specially with a maleshep.

Sure that would be like stealing candy from a baby since I said some which pretty much means more than two?  Considering there were people asking for incestuous relationships with Bethany it's a pretty damn safe bet.  But please don't bother yourself if it was someone with more history I might take you seriously but as it is? Nah.

Please don't start this again. If Bioware/EA were really concerned with homophobic customers, they wouldn't include gay content in the first place, but they have in previous games and will have some in ME3. The overwhelming majority doesn't have a problem with it. Anyways, I won't buy ME3 until I know which dude is available for ManShep. Only Steve would be too little, too late.

I understand the anger about the devs silence, but it's just a few days now. By all means, rage if you must, but I'm not sure it helps anything. And reviewers may or may not be embargoed on this topic.
