We also have to remember that as big as there boards are, users here don't necessarily make up the entire ME player base. Of the large number of people I know IRL who play Mass Effect, myself, my GF, and one other are the only ones with accounts here. The reaction we see on the boards doesn't necessarily represent everyone who plays the game.

That said, I am familiar enough with the entertainment industry and how PR generally works to know that this could absolutely be about publicity. Or at least not wanting to have that one issue overshadow the press for the game as a whole.

It is a little bit silly to be worrying about spoiling things when so much of the script (or at least an early version of it) has already leaked, but I can understand the reason behind it (even if I don't agree with it).

That said: WHATEVER the game comes out in a week and a half (midnight release is on my 3 year anniversary which I find hilarious but appropriate). We'll know then.

Honestly, the rest of the world doesn't even care as much as BSN does. Unless a player is actively trying to look for gay content in their game, they aren't gonna find it.

@Solid: I didn't think you were, although you might have turned green and gone "HULK SMASH PUNY BIOWARE!", and that's kind of the part I agree with. Not specifically Kaidan news.

Maybe Ryzaki and Solid have the right idea, BSN Hugfest 2012 anyone? Or Hug Protest till they give us news at least.

@Chun Hei: I know it's a bit spiteful but I kind of just want that to happen after seeing so many of those comments and the other ones when it was thought he was, which nothing is done about. I just don't want them to be right, even if I'm not if need be. But it is BW character to do with as they please

At the very least, we're already ahead of the S/S players in Star Wars: The Old Republic =D. Bioware said that S/S content was coming... while giving only vague answers that make Chris's post seem absolutely crystal clear in comparison!

Vague seems to be something they're good at.

Yep! And she looks good....I like her new look  And she might even be a squad mate. If I can't romance her, I'll at least be happy to have her in my squad.

If she is alive she will be in ME3. You can continue a romantic relationship with her but cannot start one. It is unclear how much time she can spend in the game as a squadmate.

Even if you are interested in it, you may not find it. I remember playing through Jade Empire twice before having a "d'oh" moment when I realised Silk Fox was romanceable by my female character. Had never romanced anyone prior to that. >.>

Absolutely this. I'm thissssss close to cancelling my SWTOR sub and telling them "I'll come back when you put SGRA's (same-gender romance arcs) in the game."

Skeptic that I am, I predict that SGRA's will make it into the game when the sub numbers dip dangerously close to the level where free-to-play becomes a viable option.

At least she kind of flirts. (even if Sky overrides her unless you shut him down early). Sky doesn't flirt at all and you have to rejection both females before being able to romance him
