And Steve proves that Bioware considers m/m an afterthough amongst afterthoughts, the only reason they did it might be because of the public outcry, not just on these forums, if they'd included all these hot lipstick lesbians without even acknowledging gay guys exist. So on that bombshell it might be very possible that Ashley is a real romance for FemShep while Kaidan might just turn out to either reject ManShep outright or at best become a Samara like psuedomance since they've already so generously thrown us mister generic after all.

Actually the adorable nature and quality of the writing present in the supposed MShep and Kaidan dialogue should have made me suspicious right away, since we all know that we are just an afterthought to them.

Nothing against Mr. Priestly but....his track record for telling the truth has been...called into question numerous times regarding spoilers. Legion? Garrus? Kasumi? The Prothean?

Well, I don't really have much preference, I think.  As someone who loved both Merrill/Liara and the Aveline/Ashley and also "the" Captain Isabela <3, I think I'm pretty easy to please.  What she looks like is unimportant, but I hope she keeps her accent.  I tend to like accents in general. 

I liked Jack's bald head, though I'm also interested in seeing the ingame depiction.  Jack's face model is (or was in ME3) beautiful so I don't think anything will look bad on her.

Finis Valorum does tend to see the glass as half empty. No despair here for the most part, though. S/s IS in the game. There ARE going to be multiple s/s options in the game, even at least *gasp* one "retcon."

Well, most of the women featured in Bioware games, and younger men, do look like they could hold second jobs as fashion models. Same on TV and in movies. That's a trend I don't think is going to end any time soon. Men at least have the advantage of looking "distinguished" as we get older, but I DO think Chakwas could pass for sexy. Of course, she has the same body model as the younger characters.

Miranda would be supermodel, ashley a bit of a butch, so a good mix of two would work for me

So did Wynne and that banter with Zevran (and Alistair in Warden's Keep) always made me LOL especially knowing that.  If they ever put Chakwas in a Mass Effect film, Helen Mirren would be ideal.

But he's clearly unsatisfied that Steve may be the only option (or the only option that isn't simply a female romance without gender-specific pronouns), and he despairs that BioWare's aversion to gay Shepard is going to prevent any satisfactory implementation.

Anyway, you misread the whole thing, I think. I'm not talking about gay romance. I'm talking about getting trolled. Justice, for all the people your spoilers have driven away from the forums, no matter how much they might want a particular feature to be in the game or not in it.

I kinda want Samantha to be Ser Cauthrien, In Space! But honestly at this point I just feel spoiled over all the choices, I don't think Bioware could honestly ****** me off over the choices themselves. And no that isn't a contradiction with the conniption fit I was having earlier, that was about the stupid marketing and advertising side of this bloody business which I despise.

I am a straight male and I am all for same sex relationships in Mass Effect. That is to say so long as it fits the characters.  Just making a character gay for the sake of fan-serivce is wrong IMO. You should create new characters with their sexual-orientation in mind. Turning an estabilished character gay isn't cool. Also, having them only be a certain orientation based on the characters interactions isn't cool too. IMO, it takes away from the illusion that they're real people if I can just start hitting on them and they all of a sudden go gay for me. Anway, that's just my 2 cents.

The information Klace posted earlier is not accurate. I will not post what is and is not accurate about his claims, but, for whatever reason he chose to, he made up some of the information he told you was in the game.

I do not know why he chose to do this. When I confronted him about it through PM he initially gave me a lot of lies about being sent a copy by our PR team and how he was allowed to post his comments. After I called him on his lies, he admitted he has made up his contact with PR and what he posted. He has been banned form the forums now for deliberately trolling teh community with false information.

So please do not put too much validity into what he claimed he knew form playign the game. I have reason to believe he has made up everything he has claimed or has made accurate guesses.

We want ME players to expereince the romances in game for themselves, so I will not discuss what may or may not be acurate, buy please keep this in mind while you discuss what was claimed.

It seemed pretty genuine. Though I am notoriously gullible. But why would someone write and then type out ENTIRE CONVERSATIONS of a theoretical romance between Kaidan and maleshep? And from what I've read here Klace is a reliable source.

No, I think it's fairly obvious Klace made some of that up (the dialogue and Sam's hair, say), and Mr Priestly is letting us know that. 

Even at the time people were saying the dialogue looked corny and odd, and I was half-agreeing with them (although the last thing I expected was someone to troll the s/s thread with positive news!). 

We have other independent confirmation that Kaidan and Ashley are s/s romances, and that person has been a heck of a lot of more accurate and forthcoming with information than the person in this thread. Vega also doesn't seem to be an option.

Chris said some things Klace said were what appeared to be lucky guesses. I don't think they were guesses. 

I think it's rather more likely that Klace knew (like we all know) the correct information that has been floating around for weeks now - that Kaidan and Ashley are s/s options, and Vega isn't an LI - and then, for whatever bizarre reasons, decided to invent dialogue and pass it off as the truth.

The fact that he appropriated actual spoilers and mixed in lies shouldn't discredit the information we got from elsewhere.

Kaidan is still an option, ditto for Steve - and Ashley and Sam for femSheps.

Edit: It's just the dialogue that was completely ficticious. 

Oh, and Klace's description of Sam doesn't match up with SAFG's - Samantha apparently has darker skin and dark hair, possibly from an Indian-British background. (Klace said she looked like her voice actor, but with dark hair).

Thanks for confirming it! Could you also link him the mShep/Kaidan dialogue Klace posted and ask if it has anything to do with real stuff?
