Google is your friend.

Six times as many people signed a petition in support of Gaider so it's safe to say the romances were quite well received by the 'gays'.

On the internet I could probally get more "signitures" for a petition that is blank, demanding blue cheese be dyed purple or to legalise Asari marriage.

355 votes is hardly a massive number and I can't believe you take it seriously enough to try and use as a defense. The petition is just a likely to be a troll, maybe by someone who has never played DA2 or was just plain bored.

Even with you're gross underestimation of "non-strictly heteosexuals" 355 does not equal 4% of 7 000 000 000 (which out of curiousity is apparently 280 million anyway, really a tiny potenial market not worth BW's time trying to tap into. Not that the number does equal all potential buyers), it's hardly a mass attack of a single community. The article was right on one thing "you can't please" everyone, but that's universal of sexuality anyway. Just look at the differences of opinion on Multiplayer, leveling, skills etc. Was it mass effect or some other thing with aliens that said "I like humans if you put 2 in a room they'd have 4 different opinions on one subject" or something to that effect.

Actually, I find the crocoduck to be superior to the banana.

 Veering way off topic here.

Now that there are people who actually have ME3 and are playing it, I think it may be a good time for BioWare to release the information about the romance options.

I appreciate them keeping it a secret for so long, but now that the game is out there, I don't see the need for it anymore. Besides, with official confirmation, the guessing, being lied to and being trolled will stop.

If they had any intention of doing that, then Chris Priestly wouldn't insult our intelligence with that "definitely not but yes, well, I have no idea" post of his.

First of all, there have been both intersex people and people who identify as non-binary gendered throughout history, even if we're just about to understand the physical aspects of that (as in, sciense) - but these people could tell you in no uncertain terms that they do, in fact exist.

I never said these people didn't exist.  However, you make it seem as though these people are NORMAL when they're not.

What percentage of humanity consists of intersex people?  Below 1% surely..  They are mistakes, or deviations from the normal pattern and so do not count when speaking of a human species in general.

You have some serious issues if you think intersexed people don't count as humans, just because they don't fit your black-and-white view of gender.

I agree, Bioware telling us the romance "options" isn't a spoiler I think. Telling us what happens and the way the romances occurr, that would be a spoiler. But simply telling us who is romance-able and by which gender...it's no more a spoiler than Bioware telling us who the squadmates are, and they've let slip even bigger spoilers...and like you said, especially since people already have the game, would it be such a huge deal to release romance information? Sure some people may not want to know, but not everyone would have to read the info.  And also like you said, once Bioware does that, all the trolling and being lied to, all the guessing about the romances in ME3 will cease....I know some people would like to know if Vega is a romance, and a few of the others...I just want to know about Kaidan and if he's MShep available Posted ImagePosted Image

Just kidding Talimancer's I love her too, please don't kill me!

Hmm. Well, that pretty much establishes that anyone arguing with this hypocrite is a complete waste of time. Being a Talimancer means you are enjoying a feature that the writers themselves have confirmed is a COMPLETE FAN SERVICE, a feature they never originally intended to implement, and completely violates estabished lore in the series, EVEN THAT VERY GAME.

Shepard forces the Quarians to allow Legion on board by threatening to take off his/her helmet on board their ship! Threatening them with contamination! Even though they're all wearing suits! *Gasp.* Tali's never taken her helmet off to view her father's uncovered face for a brief moment. *Sniffle.* But she gets some magic sex gel to swap bodily fluids with a lover from another species.

I would like to say that since a player has to option to be entirely consistant with ESTABLISHED LORE and not just personal head canons, the Talimancers are free to enjoy their fan service and it COSTS ME NOTHING. The only way I'd be exposed to it is if I, THE PLAYER, chooses to experience it. And facepalm myself to death. *Ick.*

Are you a gay guy?  Next time you're in a club, walk up to the biggest guy with the hottest girlfriend and tell him he's a stud and that you would like to perform oral sex on him..

Tell me what happens Posted Image

Most likely, it would not go well for you......because the chances that he is heterosexual is much, much greater than the chances that he is gay or bisexual.

We don't need verbal confirmation to determine every aspect about someone's personality or character you know.

Your analogy is very flawed. I'd punch a guy out if he randomly tried to give me oral sex, not because we have different sexual preferences, but because I don't even know this guy and now he's trying to preform-- You get it. You fail to show me what "Verbal confirmation" we have that states how Ashley and Kaidan are strictly heterosexual. (Not to mention, you tell us we don't need dialouge to determine their sexuality, yet your entire arguement is based off of dialouge.)

Also, while the purpose of this thread is to argue, ahem, debate the implementation of s/s romances in the game, the OP clearly states that we are NOT to argue about the nature, religion, and politics of sexuality and gender persuasion IRL. Anyone who does so, s/s supporter OR s/s critic, can (and in my case) have been banned. Just ignore the posts or report them.

If the person from the SA forums posting about confirmed game features and screenshots of test builds for the last *two months* didn't convince you, perhaps the Las Vegas Space Edition retrieval team who confirmed same-sex flirting between mShep and Kaidan a few hours ago might.

Or you could check Mr Priestly's post, the November beta's ambiguous dialogue...

This last troll told a story, also without proof, and look how that turned out. Indications, hints, claims, arguments,... but no proof.

There's no direct proof of the romance, but the SA guy gave direct proof of having access to the game, so in the sliding scale of credibility, Klace isn't even in the same league as him.

Nobody wins an argument on the BSN. It merely confirms whether a member has anything important going on at a particular moment.

There were devs in the Q&A thread from Sleepee and all he said was keep it classy. So I don't think there'd be a problem saying who is what as long as there's no specifics.

Not to derail your rant, but it's not like Shep X Tali is the only instance of Quarian interspecies lovin' in ME2, as demonstrated here.

Lol. Just tell us about one quarian interspecies BEFORE ME2 (this game was the one which broke the lore to begin with, so it's only fair they did break it for everyone in the universe) game, comic or novel. I'm pretty sure you won't be able, because Tali/m!Shepard is not only against Tali's character integrity but also against the freaking lore. Bi VS is nothing compared to that atrocity.

Oh look, the thread's devolving into an "Anti-Tali fan" thread, how f***ing lovely.... <_<

On another note, anybody see the new outfits for MaleShep and FemShep that were just extracted from the demo files?

In fact, Tali was my second favourite character in ME until they made her look like a teen fangirl in ME2. How (un)lovely, isn't it. And for the record, I'm not agaist Tali romance, just against Talimancers saying that VS can't be bi since it's against character integrity and it's recon.

About the outfits, I really like the N7 leather jackett, I hope it's in the game and not just as DLC.
