I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to because I never played ME1, on account of my having a PS3 and thus not having said game available to me in the first place.

Look at it this way, has the threat of crippling STDs put much of a damper on our (as in real life humans) own sexual escapades now or anytime in history? There are going to be risk takers in any culture or species in this instance (and let's PLEASE not get into Bug Chasers ), so whining about Talimancers "breaking the lore" is foolish and honestly quite petty.

Oh, and before some fool dubs me a Talimancer, I am actually a hopeless gay Garrusmancer. My Broshep equals Forever alone.

You wouldn't, because there's none, the first time was in ME2. That said, you can't compare STDs with the whole incompatible dna stuff, could you. Because from what I understand, Shep's semen/fluids are kind of like poison to Tali/Garrus.

But I digress, I'm not against dextro romances, because they are optional and even though I wouldn't take those, I'm happy for others who want them. But what I can't stand is a Talimancer saying that making the VS being bi ruin their character, because in that case, dextro romances "ruined" the entire universe. (I'm speaking hypothetically in case you take it literally)

No one is saying that Tali and Garrus romances are bad only pointing out that it is hypocritical for a Tali or Garrus romancer to criticize "bi" VS as a fan service or retcon when the ME writers themselves have confirmed that xenosexual LIs in ME2 are a fan service.  As far as I know only Recon Team has been consistant in criticizing xenosexual LIs and "bi" VS equally.
