It could be that Ashley isn't but Kaidan is.
That would suck

Technically, if they're back on the Normandy, then it should mean you were nice to them and they trust you so you have good relationship with them and can pursue romance. Unless there's no romance with Ash :/ElitePinecone wrote...
Total speculation, but perhaps you need to say the right things after Mars (and in the Citadel scene) to start the 'new' VS path.
Maybe they simply run out of time/had too much to do so decided to cut that? If it still makes it into as DLC, and gets expanded too into some huge-ass Omega retake, then I won't complainElitePinecone wrote...
(Also, the Omega stuff is frustrating me, if only because it looks exactly like it was deliberately shunted to DLC?)

I still think it's weird even if it's an option and still has no effect on my Shep. It bothers me mostly because there was no flirting of any kind between the two in ME1 or ME2. But suddenly in ME3, without any explaination, Ash is bisexual.
I think it's cheap, especially since Liara was a romance option for FemShep from beginning until the end. That actually makes sense and doesn't require explaination. But for Ash and Kaiden, I think there does need to be some sort of explaination.
I mean, what the hell? Why wait until ME3 to do this? It seems like a wasted opportunity that either should have been taken advantage of in ME1 or just left alone in ME3. Would people be upset that they couldn't romance those two characters if they played the same gender? Of course. But I think people would get over it.

I'm now even *more* pissed they don't just go ahead and tell us who the damn LIs are and for who.
We're going to find out who they are before the damn game releases anyway. >_>

I'm not sure Ashley is the most popular F/F character (who isn't already, obviously), actually. There's enough for Jack and Tali that they might be.

I didn't think I could be more pissed off at Priestly.
This is utter bullsh*t. It's a slap in the face.

Re: Ashley - I think the number of ways the player could've missed the dialogue is far more likely than her not being available. We don't know the plot flags and conditions for activating it or proceeding with it.
Whereas, we've had a tester talking for months about the game and mentioning both Ashley and Kaidan.
(To put it another way: I think it's way more likely that Space Editon player missed something, and not the SA Forum Guy - especially when the latter played through all romances and knows the plot and features inside out)

Does anyone else here think that being able to impregnate EDI is blatant fan service? Especially the way we are railroaded into it. Totally ruined my immersion. I hear if you are playing female Shepard you have to talk Vega into doing it. That is really a slap in the face IMHO.

So if Sam can be started as a casual thing, is she still a full romance? Or is she truly a new Kelly (not just in job).
