Hmmm, I think speculations about bestiality and real-world Earth are rather off-topic.
And inflammatory. >.>

Might as well not comment about it further since it will risk derailing the thread to much.
Now back on topic I am kinda upset with Bioware. Since s/s romances is possible I will likely have to do multiple playthroughs with a Male shep for kaidan. Damn you Bioware for making awesome games!

Ah yes, the Eternity Bar bachelor party scene, I remember it well, and it has inadvertently caused a world of misunderstanding regarding asari appearance. Asari aren't projecting a mental hologram into the mind of the viewer, if anything the upshot of that conversation is that each species fixates on features of the asari that are most similar to their own species, and it's believed that the reason for this is some type of asari pheremone, whether it's some type of chemical substance or subtle biotic effect. That's my take anyway. That scene has led many people down the primrose path, as amusing as it was I wish they had left it out.
I hope you aren't assuming I think the Asari are projecting a mental image to other species. just read my post above and thats basically what I think about the subject. To be honest it wouldn't be that out of the ordinary. Its possible that the Asari don't realize that mentally they are affecting another being's minds making an Asari less of a threat to a possible predator and it may have evolved from that. We know that Asari have mental capabilities so I wouldn't entirely rule it out but its less likely to be true.
No. No, no, no, no.
Where is Sten when I need him?
The Asari do not alter their appearance mentally in the minds of other species, subconsciously or otherwise. If they did, someone in the universe would have figured it out by now. Even if the solution was something as simple as making different races draw the Asari and then compare notes (possibly on a planet where no Asari are around to "influence" their minds) I garuntee that someone would have figured it out by now.

Not to mention mention the Horizon scene between them.Badpie wrote...
Personally I always thought a Male Shep/ Kaidan romance would work awesomely, even if it didn't happen in ME1. The way it was written left a lot of room for speculation regarding their true feelings for each other. I would heartily be behind this pairing in ME3. In fact I'm hoping for it.

I know, right? And it wont feel right, to me, to just pick up a new shep in the game, I'm going to have to start each one over at ME1 and play through them all. Still, I've got a year to get a few through 1 and 2, so I'm not worried.

Since he is bringing up bestiality, he might actually enjoy beating off the horse.Roachbugg wrote...

First, you want new LI in ME3 to be bisexual. Wasted resources but fine. Who cares.
Now you want established ME2/ME1 characters to be bisexual? What the hell. You must really love to ruin good characters. Anders was awesome in DA:A but he's definitely worst character in DA2 (mostly because he has suddenly become bisexual, without any reason at all).
I wonder what's next. Let me guess... Bestiality?

Ummm ok, just going to pop in here to press the point:
Anders sexuality is not what derailed his character. Sexuality =/= personality.
Anders personality was drastically changed from DA to DA2, and his sexuality was one tiny aspect of this.
And also, what do you have against Bisexuals? what makes them a bad character?
People want the previous s/s romance options to be restored, thane, tali, ash, kaiden and jack I believe. Although from the looks of who we're getting back, it'll only be tali and the VS. This isn't character derailment, this is merely exploring on what was already there (i.e came with the conceptualisation of the character).
Garrus is also a completly resonable option because dating shepard would not make him bi, it would technically make him pansexual, which he already is for dating femshep. Seriously, the same reasons the game gives for Garrus and femshep's relationship could easily work for maleshep, expecially considering how "masculine" female turians apparently look like anyway.
Also, people really need to understand that just because someone dates women/ men all life, does not make them hetro/ homosexual. Actually, science suggests that the majority of people are bisexual, and would be openly if not for societies pressures, there you go.

I know kaidan acted like a wounded lover almost like my Irl bf does when we fight. But i still wanted to just pull him close and tell him ever thing would be alright.
