Are all the ME programmers 14 year old boys or something!?

If the M/M scenes are conservative (or nonexistent) yet Samantha gets a sultry shower scene, certainly seems so.
It would probably help to get some women (and some LGBT people, fat chance though) on the Mass Effect writing team.

It would seem very obvious if they made the m/m romance they only fade to black scene. It'd be a very bad move from them.

the leaked script have 2 places the cortex sex scene can take place one after the date the other seems to be like a locker room scene from me1(shepard down in the dumps) without the interruption and happens in the bedroom

Can take place? Does it happen or are we making assumptions based on the locations the dialogues with Cortez happen?

As to the "bug" (which doesn't actually seem to be a bug, just Bioware not including certain love interests) Red by Full Metal Jacket mentioned, if you're playing on the PC it seems you can just mod it to your liking instead.

date scene pretty much ends with shepard asking for sexy times (plus some of steves flirty comments refers to him spending the night with shepard)

dialogue for the bedroom scene also seems to lead into sexy times as well

Is there anything in that leaked script that mentions Kaidan/MShep? Just asking, because my gay Shepard has his eye on Kaidan since his put down of Joker at the very beginning of ME1.

Well for a game which was under development for years nobody have to mod anything to their liking. "We tried and couldn't do it so giving you game in this state" such a lame excuse. Add it to their epic ending ideas and half assed m/m romance, ME 3 feels like an epic fail to me.

I pre ordered the game and will play it. However only good thing so far is MP.

dont take it as confirmation

gender neutral doesnt mean he is avaliable (though the SA guy said he is and he knew stuff about the game long before we even did like prothy's name which was only revealed in the demo files and the new scanning system which we only found out about like 3 days ago)

I agree that we shouldn't have to mod this. It looks especially bad that they're pushing a certain character on us (guess who), too.

So far as half assed M/M romance...that remains to be seen.

not seeing how cortez is half assed... he has more freaking normandy dialogue than ME2 garrus did and thats without the romance stuff <_<

plus he is actually gay and not bi like all other bioware S/S romances

It doesn't seem to be an actual bug so much as implying that certain love interests are more important than others.

What is this "bug"? If it isn't spoilerific I'd like to know. I might have to shelf the game for awhile before playing it if it's really stupid.

Being him only gay character in Bioware games and good written script is nice. Half assed because no special face model, no VA credit so far. They poured so many resources for Paris Hilton of nerds. That imbalance between romances is what makes me unhappy.

Highlight for spoiler:
During a flashback of the most important people in Shepard's life, these people show up:
1. Joker.
2. Anderson.
3. Ashley or Kaidan if they were romanced, Liara otherwise.

So you never get to see any of the ME2 or ME3 LIs. That would include Steve and Samantha.

But that seems to be the hallmark of a same-sex romance is that the dialogue for the most part is gender neutral (two seperate sets of dialogue will take up more disc space than one). Seriously if we had two seperate sets of dialogue ends up with a situation like DA2 with their ident-a-kit environments and characters.

... I'm confused. You sure it isn't an actual bug? Because that doesn't really make a lot of sense. I mean, it does make sense if Bioware is trying to shove people down your throat; but since I still have some trust in them this "bug" seems kind of... strange. Because... yeah...

I wonder which one you are mentioning. The first one or the last buggy one. I hate first one more than the last. In general I hate forced people in games. Rarely they turn out good (like Aveline or Duncan) but mostly they are annoying (like Anders, Merrill*, Garrus or Joker).

*It's been a while I last played DA2 but if my memory serves you can't avoid Merrill.

It doesn't seem to be a bug because there are no files for the other love interests.
