Highlight:
There's a file for Ashley to show up in the flashback. There's a file for Kaidan to show up. There's a file for Liara to show up.
But none of the other love interests.
Which means that they either forgot to include the other love interests, or they didn't care to.

I am kinda happy I didn't played ME1 after seeing that Liara dislike on BSN.

I freaked out when she hugged my Shepard on my first ME2 run.Posted Image

Merrill s****ed me up the wall, you can kill Anders, run off Sebation, hand Fenris over to his former master, Isabella just f***s off on her own accord, you don't have to deal with Bethany/Carver for most of the game and yet I have to deal Merrill the whole bloody game! Something that was made much worse with the fact that Merrill is voiced by Eve Myles; who, if I never hear from ever again will be too bloody soon! I apologise for this rant, I have wanted to say that for a long time.

Haha. Right. I didn't mean I was confused with your explanation. You answered flawlessly. I just meant that I'm confused in general. Like, so very confused as to *if* it was intentional, why it is so; as in why would Bioware consciously make that decision.

Lets have a moment of silence for those who like me play the game on a console and therefore have no access to mods.

Hah you are not alone. For most part I wanted to smash her head to her damned mirror until her skull crushed and scream "This mirror is evil, you stupid b*tch!".

Luckily I always had Isabela with me to cheer me up. However I like voice acting/accent of Merrill.

Too bad. If you had romanced her in ME1, when you first meet her in ME2 she kisses you immediately. I was like "wait, she recovered my body, Jacob said it was meat and tubes and now she kisses me... ew... that's gross and morbid". But, generally, I liked her in The Lair, romance or no romance. I really felt the friendship, or love, between them. Then again, perhaps I was bummed after the cold shower Kaidan gave me on Horizon and needed some huggs Posted Image. The bad part is that when she finally tells you how Cerberus aquired your body, Miranda just stands there... Looks around, whistles, "that doesn't concern me"... That was stupid.

Any, I really hope that USA guys from here will tell us on the 6th EVERYTHING about romances... M.

Don't get me wrong I love the Welsh accent, it the actress behind the voice that s****ed me.

I personally think that Welsh actor Gareth David-Lloyd has the sexist voice and accent in the business. (hint-hint Bioware, use his voice for something!)

not seeing how cortez is half assed... he has more freaking normandy dialogue than ME2 garrus did and thats without the romance stuff <_<

plus he is actually gay and not bi like all other bioware S/S romances

It's not something that was asked for. All of the previous romance options were squad members. Kelly didn't even give you the Paramour Achievement. The devs probably decided to created this character for the sole purpose of being gay. Dialogue or not, if he was important, he would have gotten his own face. Allers did get her own, maybe because she is the only human female guaranteed to be alive, but still. Vice versa James may be the only human male alive, as far as we know (apart from Joker that is). If he's available for FemShep and the devs still insisted on a exclusively gay option, that would be the only explanation for creating Steve in the first place. Not a squadmate, no own face, so yes it's half-assed, it's like the absolute and bare minimum for romanceable character.

Being him only gay character in Bioware games and good written script is nice. Half assed because no special face model, no VA credit so far. They poured so many resources for Paris Hilton of nerds. That imbalance between romances is what makes me unhappy.

Oh, and don't forget THE MOST CLICHE name for a homosexual male. It's tempting to make a Broshep named Adam just so I can exploit that tacky joke.

1)kelly hardly counted as a romance in ME2 she was a fling and thats it (plus females still had Liara)
2)own face? well Dianna got one because $$$$$$ and try get high reviews from ign also other than sheploo face scanning has been horrid in this series (points to Miranda who looks more like damn michael jackson than her VA)
3) its pretty clear by now he isnt bi plus kaidan is also most likley bi as well
4)he may not be a squad member but they didnt half ass the amount of dialogue he has and id like to point out that not all romance options are that important any way (Thane and Garrus for example dont bring much to the overall plot and inface you dont even need to recruit thane in me2 or garrus in me1 plus both can die)
5) copy paste bi romances are also horribly lazy IMO

We had this discussion about two hundred pages ago.

I don't think the naming of Steve was intended to be malicious. It was, at the very least, an in-joke that you're not taking well.

If you look at Bioware's writing team before jumping to conclusions about them, you'll find they're some of the most supportive of gay rights in the entire industry.

After doing [thing], the orchestra swells and Shepard remembers people who were important to him/her right before the consequences of the final choice play out.

(Re: the specifics of those choices - I like it. People have the ending they wanted, if they work for it, and there's a bunch of other interesting things to mess with the universe.)

There is a difference between having a good chuckle at a joke and making fun of women/gay/lesbians. But that must be a personal opinion.
