While you are right about that, it is franchise/playerbase ain't supportive of gay people. They know little boundaries on fantasy fiction games.

I think I can write it here as it's out of being spoiler at this moment. According to SA guy Steve first intended to be blonde with light skin. Why all ME LI must have dark hair? (Not counting Kelly, probably she's dying her hair).

where are you getting this from because could it just be from an unfinished version of the game as I just dont buy bioware leaving it like that unless there plan is like loftsb and fix it in dlc

I would not read anything in to the ps3 version as its missing a ton of stuff to begin with as it did not get me1 the pc and xbox verison may be diffrent who knows

I think that in ME cannon Humanity is suffering from a shrinking bio-diversity, blonde are extinct (except through gene-mods) and red-heads are rarer too. Although it's ironic as it the red-heads in RL that are suppose to be extinct by 2030.

I think it was Liara's dad, actually Benezia was her mum.

Yeah, that confused me - she's definitely in there, there's a quest about it. 

And Aria/Omega have lines, Mike Gamble said on a British web interview that he liked Aria's character in ME3.

Exactly my point. Kelly was a fling. All Paramour romances were full-fleged squad members. So when Casey Hudson said there was gonna be a male same-sex love interest it was expected to be a squadmate, not a crew member. As for the face, be that as it may, an effort was made to create a special, nice face for Allers, but not for Cortez apparently. Having him be exclusively gay wasn't exactly asked for either. Squad member... It's not just dialogue on the ship, it's also taking them to a mission, them commenting on what's happening in the world and reacting to what Shepard does, fighting alongside them and them being fighters.
Obviously a lot of people wanted/want Kaidan and another load James. The devs insisted on creating this new character. If he was a men only romanceable squad member I would applaud them and yes it lovely he's gay and not bi, but this also means the devs didn't think it worthwhile to make one of the 22 squad members gay.

You're kind-of missing the point, they are not gay, their romance is not exclusive to a PC of the same gender. It also took 2 whole games to get to a point where a PC of the same gender could even romance them.

If this really is true, it will be best to stay away from the BSN after launch, because that will bring on a rage we have not seen until now. Just think of it, the Talimancers would gang up with the Mirandalovers and the Garrus-fangirls. BioWare would have to delete the BSN and pretend this website never existed after that.

Honestly, I think the bug's pretty funny. I want a mod that lets Shepard remember an army of people I've never cared about. I want a five-minute sepia toned flashback to that time Shepard thought he was asking for money but instead got ninja "romanced" by the Consort.

The characters are supposed to have dark hair because light hair is recessive and people of the future are more mixed. Apparently, some book character's blonde hair is uncommon because of this. It's science fact that a more integrated world would result in a mostly white-looking, dark-but-straight-haired population. It's kind of a goofy explanation. Where's your post-racial one world government now, ObamaHarper?? I don't know if the lore's more complicated than this- weren't the nations of earth like barely united or not at all before alien contact?

Humans have always had poor genetic diversity. Two humans from opposite corners of the world have less difference in genetic make-up than two Orangutans from the same patch of rainforrest. There is only one animal that I know of that has less genetic diversity than us and that is the Cheetah.

Also sticking Joker in our eye on every damn playthrough is unforgivable.

I know I am minority on that one but I don't like him. I can never like a guy who would cause my dead because of his idiocy then act like nothing happened and on top of that complaining about loosing "his" ship again while I am in a life/death situation. If I could I would kick him out into void and let EDI helm the ship after Derelict Reaper mission.

Actually if the aliens spread throughtout their own homeworlds the way we did, then the Asari and potentially the Salarians have less genetic diversity than we do. Due to how amphibians reproduce and the drawbacks that come with how the Asari reproduce (sorry but am having trouble spelling the proper word).
