Wow, this thread is like riding a rollercoaster.  Every day it goes from doom and gloom back to hope .  I agree with those who aren't taking too much from the whole Ashley flirtation thing, due to the player already being locked into a romance with Liara.  I'll continue to be cautiously optimistic until I see for myself after the actual release date.  On a sidenote, if anyone here likes multiplayer and wants to group, send me a PM.  If you haven't tried it, it's fun.  Definitely helps with the waiting, too!

Think I'll bail now, this is pointless (not unlike making different choices in ME end).

Probably won't cancel my pre-order I've got like £30 of game credit that has to be used anyway before they go under too, then again KoA looks kind of interesting. I was one of the few looking forward to DA3 but between a number of things I have my doubts about that too now.

Theres always multiplayer (buy SP story game...only play MP part, awesome)

Great marketing skills, instead of risking upseting one small group you've made both unhappy BW.

I will second that. MP is fun. I hope that doesn't count as spoiler, according to SA guy when you promote a lvl 20 MP character to SP, that character resets. Good news if you are terrible with aiming guns like me. So you can level up your Engineer, Adept or Sentinel over and over again.



Now my negative aura dispelled a bit. Even with horny smurfette flashback and meh endings there are somethings worth seeing in ME3. Like events concerning Tali, Miranda or Jack.

Hmm, well DA2's ending was rage-inducing in itself, not really because of Anders (I support what he did). But what transpired was just a WTF-am-I-watching ending. I went "I hate this game" *replays*.

Seriously? You didn't think to edit that or put a warning near it?

Edit: for the purposes of this thread though, if we take the info about flashbacks etc with a pinch of salt until we can see for ourselves, it looks like s/s players are getting a couple of options each with Sam/Steve and the vs.  Thats something to be happy about. The story/endings are never gonna please everyone but at least we get to be gay/lesbian in some capacity before we throw our controllers at the tv.

Frankly I think it's worse than DA2's ending. Hawke does have a pretty decent ending save the cliffhanger.

LOL I replayed it too.

The only good thing about the endings is that anti-s/s and pro s/s alike can go "WHAT THE HELL?!?" together in beautiful jaw dropped harmony.

That said, yeah I spoiled myself. And I'm not going to say that my excitement for this game is completely gone, but my enthusiasm is. I'm ridiculously disappointed and angry at Bioware. Unless we're getting the trolling of our lives (which I somehow doubt).

The ending with the LI's sucks so much, especially if you didn't romance the ME1 LI's. If you romanced any of the ME2 options you get closure with... Liara.

There's also a giant plot hole that deals with the ending revelation.

I'm so ****ed at the Bioware writers right now words can't even describe it.

Well, if the spoilers are correct, yeah. I find it very, very, very hard to imagine anyone at BioWare would have thought that the LI part of the endings was in any way acceptable. I'm really hoping it's someone sat at their desk having a good old laugh at having trolled us. Because, yeah. No.
