It's not like your choices have no impact, it's that (currently) every ending is really dark. 

Especially for the LI-Shep relationship.

Not directly, but... well, yeah. It looks like a "happy rainbow bunnies riding off into the sunset ending" isn't going to happen, even with the best outcome and the right player choices.

I'd say it's worse than that. Even the "happiest" ending makes the game look like Mass Depression 3.

@Solid: If anything it's more reason to be angry for leaving so little room for a happy outcome. They've let down him and others like him with varying degrees of personal problems in the way they choose to escape stress. Deep philosphical endings are all well and good but sometimes you want a nice to just escape into and have a nice ending. Similar to the many Striaght people that do support us in getting the choice of a s/s LI in a game.

If BW had just confirmed who is and who isn't a same-sex romance option we would be talking (ie b****ing) about dialogue, about plausabilty, about scenes, about how so-and-so is not a same-sex romance option but how we wish he/she/it was, instead of flooding the thread with end-game spoilers.

And there were only 3 endings given, didn't BioWare tell us that there would be 6 endings or something like that.

My male Shepard has been through hell, he deserves to grow old with Kaidan, even if it re-building society or a being a part of the pre ME1 satus-quo (which when you think about it aren't rainbow, sunshine, fluffy bunny grade happy endings).

I guess so.. Would still be nice to have a happy ending though . Ah well, I always knew that it wouldn't end in every way I wanted. I mean DA:O made some hard decisions, resulting with you doing a bad thing to achieve a "Happy" ending. I just hope it's not one of those "Everyone dies" ending. As long as I can have Harbinger shove it-- I'll be happy. 

(And as long as I can finally share my feelings with Kaidan. )

Lol. I actually burst out laughing when they mentioned about Liara's room in that video. Miranda who?! And poor Diana. I know she doesn't get much love but they could have jazzed her quarters up a little. Few fairy lights, wee potted plant maybe. Looks like she's living in a refugee camp lol.

I didn't see Cortez in the vid though (too dark to make anyone out) although I thought I saw Vega doing pull-ups in the back ground at the end - yum!

The speed of the ban hammer against the s/s leaks actually made me inclined to believe the general gist of them. Real information has a reason to be locked down. The lack of banning over the end game spoilers has me thinking that there's a lot more we don't know still.

You didn't miss anything, however, it's interesting. By now, Kotaku obviously already has a review copy. Did they put this pick randomly, or did they do this because they now there's gay romance with Kaidan?

You're not an idiot or worthy of being ignore. Least of all for having some perspective. Neither are you injustified for having less personal rage for a lower stake in it but I was just making a point, nothing personal, nothing to try make you feel bad, or to try and make you look like an idiot. Sorry if it did come off that way.

It's how I've always felt about games, being unique tools to relive stress and provide different outcomes to a story over any other method of story telling. I don't think bad endings should be excluded the same as good endings but the choice should be there, especially with 7 outcomes, otherwise it mght as well be one of the other media formats.
But I think Our favourite Major on the citidel says it better then I could, in a past interview he talked about how games are amazing tools for stress relief for various things (I'll try find the interview to quote it in a bit), and in a way they've done Sbarge a disservice now after he said it in support of the game, if it turns out to be true.

Not that I can remotely compare or know exactly how he feels but finding out I'm making less progress with my hands then I thought I was is all the bad news I needed today. Sleeping on it I feel better but not thrilled none the less.

That makes it sound worse. I'm not sure if it's better to go into it not knowing and have an Anders romance rage moment. Or go in knowing it and dread the entire experience. Doesn't Shepard deserve a happy ending? You'd think with 100% Galactic Readiness you would be able to have sunshine and rainbows...lots and lots of rainbows if you gaymance Kaiden!  But as I said I didn't read the spoiler and I think I'll keep it that way.

He was banned because he made most of that up, and was falsely raising expectations about the dialogue in the romance scenes.




The only information he got right was from another source, who confirmed the VS s/s stuff months ago.




They aren't banning people who post about the endings, because that's hundreds of people. That doesn't make the information any less accurate. Both a space edition member and someone who was posting information for months have confirmed the general outline.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm fighting, though, not just for me, but my parents and my wife, so I won't go down so easily, but the side effects are annoying. That's why I'm having a sh*tty year so far, next year will get better I guess.

edit: I'd be happy with a download content "happy ending", although I'd rather a free update for the game to add it.

It's not really DLC. It's products, such as keyboards, figurines and art books, that just happen to come with a weapon for your multiplayer game. People are looking for a problem that really isn't there.
