I have a question; Ashley is a soldier and Kaiden is a sentinal, so why is it that in the ME3 demo Kaidan is wearing heavier armor and Ashley's armor all about revealing her t*ts. Or does Ashley's new and improved rack stop bullets better?

It's the sci-fi equivalent of the chainmail bikini. On a semi-related note:
The Avengers...

And now the Avengers, as they would appear if drawn the way women in comics usually are...

You have to admit it, it looks as though she has had an "upgrade" since we last saw her.

That's an interesting distinction. Ash seems like she has more walls put up than Kaidan. I just hope she's bi so I can strip all those walls down. Figuratively speaking, of course.Jilinna wrote...
Whereas Ash in my opinion sounded harsher than Kaidan, she had more attitude in her voice, she sounds angry. Its like at first she was excited but then she remembered Shepard worked for Cerberus and she may not be trust worthy so she puts up her defense's after that and puts on a facade to make it look like seeing Shepard didn't bother her more as a defense mechanism for herself.
I am sure if Ash is bi she wouldn't mind either way.
But yeah Ash definitely puts up more walls than Kaidan. Kaidan's motto in ME1 was that he always leaves himself a way out, so he always has a part of himself that is not invested in Shepard because he is more controlled in his emotions, he feels sad for what transpired but not overly emotional because he doesn't want to get hurt or let down.
Whereas Ash conditioned herself to have protective walls because of Shanxi, she always felt like she had to prove she was better than the best to avenge her family's name. Therefore she has these walls that are conditioned by her background and as a result she takes on the role of the cold solider to cover up her feelings lest it breaks the perfect solider mold.
But yeah I agree though It should be fun breaking down all those walls!
Its why I like Ash she is a well developed deep character that often people dismiss if they don't try and break down her walls themselves.

This again is something that DA:O did so much better, they focused on what armor would really look like as opposed to lets give the 14 year olds playing this game boners.

I like the fact that she doesn't throw herself at your feet. She has opinions and she doesn't care if you hate her for them, but once you get to know her more you realize that she's just a big softie inside.Jilinna wrote...

In other news, IGN also whimps out on revealing s/s LIs.
Slashouts asks... I'd be very interested in knowing which characters are interested in same sex romance.
Colin answers... I won't get specific with this question to avoid
overt spoilers, but it's a common enough question worth answering more
generally. Same sex romances are possible in Mass Effect 3 regardless of
which sex you're playing as. Of course, who you can romance is part of
the fun of exploration and something I won't spoil for you here.

Wonder if that's a photoshopped picture? Because that looks like Kaidan with Shepard.

I really hate MP, I'd rather watch the feel-good ending on YouTube than play MP.
Daashi I am replying all MP worried crowd in your name.
I play on PC and I don't have a headset to talk with others. However Bronze matches don't require any talking at all. If this is the only thing that worries you.
If you don't like MP because you are teribad with aiming and guns, you can play a caster class just like me. Human Engineer and Adept are very good and you barely use your weapons. Engineer is better than Adept because you can deal with anything game throws at you. Turrets? Overload-Cover-Incirenate (sp?) gone. Also always get into matches with pistol. Assault Rifles annoying and takes longer to take down enemies.
You probably think what any good comes from MP if I can only play one class? After reaching level 20 (you can do that in Bronze) you promote that character in SP game which helps you raise your readiness score. That class then resets to level 1. Rinse and repeat.
Key points of interest in MP:
- Always stay close to your team
- When objective appears on screen (hacking or special enemies) your team mates will tend to run to those points. If one person running to that direction, follow to assist him/her. (I personally love hacking. You defend your position from waves of enemies)
- In Demo Maps there are certain points enemies spawn, know them by heart.
- If your teammates fall like flies probably they are near a Phantom, Turret or Atlas, be wary while trying to rez them.
If you are playing on PC (Daashi you are playing on X-Box unfortunately) you can add me if you want some none talking, easy on inexperienced players team mate. Origin handle is: Knightly_BW

because its the first image of m/m in ME they found? I don't know if he is or isn't but its one of the most common screenshots out there. heck, a gif version of it is used in half the "Kaidan for s/s" signatures on BSN

I have tried playing ME MP and I have people sign-in and then sign off and I think the main reason is because I don't play with a head set. So I have been left to play by myself which is why my character is still at level 1 because I die and die quickly.

You can't solo MP games until you reach higher levels. Believe me when I say I am very terrible FPS player and at level 15 my engineer can live thru 3 waves.
Don't know about X-Box servers but on PC people rarely talk (I hear one word from one person since the demo start) in Bronze. Sure most of us have blue icons under our names but I didn't see anyone leaving or kicking people out just because they have red icon. I don't want to believe they left because you don't have voice, it is a goddamn co-op game. I wonder how those people play other MMOs? Maybe I was lucky to start playing MMOs with City of Heroes which is very team oriented game so you learn to play as a team before anything else. People can play bad in the begining but if no one give them a chance to get acustomed with game they will never learn to play.
Keep in mind MP servers ain't that stable. PC has trouble of lag and disconnects very often. Just last night we dropped from 10th round of the game because leader disconnected. So let's blame server stability for now.
