I'm fine with optional s/s romances, but I don't want Bioware to retcon people as bisexual. Most of the already introduced squad mates are straight, and randomly declaring them bi seems like a cop-out.

We've heard this many times, and if you review the thread, you'll see lots of counter-arguments to some of these statements. But we're glad you support s/s inclusion. :wizard:

As a heterosexual (aka straight) man I strongly support same-sex relationships in not only Bioware games but in video games in general hell I would love to see 100% openly gay or lesbian bad ass character in Mass Effect 3.

LOL. "Is it hot in here or is it just you, Shepard?  *bowchikawowwow*"

And thank you, he's gone through just a tad of facial surgery since then but I tried very hard to make a passable manshep with what limited resources I had.

That is a foxy ManShep. Ah we have dismissed the "Universally Unattractive ManSheps" claim regardless.;)

Here's my Gay Sentinel. I think he's shagadelic.

And of course I've posted my Liaramancer Vanguard before. I think he's a stone fox. Sheploo who?

And my douchetastic skirt-chasing James-Bond-wannabe Infiltrator, who is nevertheless appealing physically.

The possibilities for ManShep are pretty broad, a lot of ManSheps I see don't stray too far from the presets, I think people should be more adventurous. :wizard:

My Manshep is coming out, loud and proud.  Soldier Paragon, the biggest boy scout that the galaxy has ever seen.

This was post surgery, as you can see he's still scarred up, lawl.  Only took about two hours, and there's still things I'd like to improve!  But consider this the last image from me, since I don't want the thread to turn into another LOOKATMYSHEP thread.  I guess this one is relevant because he's my poor lonely gay manshep.Posted Image

I am a perfectionist, I'll probably be tweaking the look again for ME3.

Luckily ME3 is supposed to give us a "Mirror of Transformation"-like face editor, or so I've been led to believe by various developer tweets. :D I might tweak my Sentinel a bit once we get that, I didn't want to start from scratch in ME2 just because I wanted to fine-tune his cheekbones a bit.

It'll be so much easier than all this code-generating and sitting through the intro.  lol.

The PC version of the intro is skippable, provided you rename some files.  Certain parts are NOT skippable but it surely cuts down a LOT of time, I think two minutes versus ten.

Mine would be the button to skips lines of dialogue being a different button from the one that autoselects lines of dialogue. <_<

You know, I just realized that while Kaidan calls my manshep "Commander" on Horizon, he calls him "Shepard" while the Normandy is blowing up.

luckily i only had to tweak one of my early femsheps( the often menioned lesbian one that's still waiting for Ash), with the rest i spend almost 2 hours each on finetuning them upon creation in ME 1 xD

wait, ****, that means i've wasted almost a day of my life creating videogame characters, NOOOOO:blink:

we take what we can ..
Shep :"Don't you think we're passed titles "
Kaidan :"We're passed a lot of things... "

i'm quoting more or less accurately from the bedroom scene in ME1 .

so it makes sense that he'd call him Shepard in ME2 intro.

Well, and by the time Horizon rolls around, Shepard is no longer in the chain of command, and is probably considered a rogue Alliance agent (due to the fact that he's working with a rogue Alliance organization) or simply as a Spectre, in which case Kaidan (or Ashley) wouldn't necessarily be expected to acknowledge Shepard's erstwhile Alliance rank.

I have run across Dr. Chakwas fans who want her to be a love interest. Of course the usual "She is so old" comments came out, and at first I defended the concept by pointing out that you could always make an older Shepard. But now that I think about it, why not have her use a younger Shepard, male or female, to get her groove back?

MAYBE I will get me some younger action when I hit middle age, ESPECIALLY if a certain BF keeps editing my comments in the Bioware forums.

EDIT: Well, Brat, as long as you keep using MY ID, I'm going to do my best to edit your posts for grammar and diplomacy. Don't start fights in my name. And I think the good doctor has her own thread so you can stop trying to derail THIS thread.

But he still calls a (non-romanced) Shepard "Commander" on Horizon!  :(

I think Kaidan yelling "SHEPARD!" on the Normandy to a non-romanced Male Shepard is probably an oversight, as I'm sure Bioware assumed that most male Shepards romanced Liara or Ashley. B)
