Yes, it's true. I'm listening to the lines as spoken by Meer and Sbarge and transcribing them.

This is top-notch acting, right here. Sbarge is better, of course. But the way Meer says the third line is probably one of his best so far. It's excellent.

Also, Hale sounds like she's starting to cry at one point. I dare say it's heartbreaking.

Also, yeah, I forgot to comment on this, about Ashley...

It kind of makes me satisfied that this means they're separated even more as characters, it goes with what some people like to argue for, "bisexuality being a part of who that character is", so in that sense, it adds a bit of depth.
But I still stand by what I said earlier about it being unfair in the sense of the devs making the VS interchangeable in nearly every aspect, except the one that actually expands player choice.
And I know there were a lot of hopeful people here (my own femShep for Ash playthrough fell through) so I feel bad because of that. I know I'd rage like hell if Kaidan weren't s/s. That said, femShep still doesn't get the short end of the stick in terms of options.

Guess its alright to skim the Cortez scene...I won't be romancing him for another couple of playthroughs. I don't even think I started his Shepard yet. 

Only wish that they changed the camera angle on the bed so it actually looks like they didn't just do it in shorts and that they are IN bed ala ME1 when the VS/Liara get up - there is the illusion that they are in the bed. Just a minor pet peeve. I didn't listen to it all but it seems sweet.

Ashley isn't bi ? I told in this thread and ashley's thread a while ago that she would remain straight while Kaidan would be almost surely bi. I thought I was wrong after all what you said. But it seems I was right finally.

Now I know what you guys mean by lighting. The picture of Cortez in the shuttle is shows him to be just tan, but due to the lighting of the bar and other stuff, its so damn shadowy he looks like Jacob lol

But I understand the lighting is just the price we pay when the devs want a "darker tone" to the game. So makes perfect since, even if it looks off.

Maybe it was juts a bug, press often doesn't get 100% complete retail copies, their copies are often bit more bugged than ours. And yes, there's a huge difference between how he looks in the CVG sex scene and the shuttle bay pic. Heck, even in the club he looks lighter than in the sex scene video.

Sbarge is amazing. I listened when he did a live feed interview last week on biowareTV or whatever. He said the line in Kaidan voice "will you marry me Shepard" at the end just for kicks and giggles to those watching.

Has anyone actually gone through all the Ashley voice files? For the Kaidan romance, FemShep has some lines ManShep has not. (About the previous romance, cheating,...) Maybe someone found Ashley romance lines for ManShep without FemShep equivalents and so they came to the conclusion there was no FemShep+Ashley romance. Mind you, there are romantic lines spoken by Meer directed at Kaidan (mentioning his name). So the question is: Are there really no romantic lines with Ashley spoken by Hale whatsoever?
