It looks like ME3 is also going to be pitch black on my monitor. Or I don't know, the demo seemed mostly fine. With ME2 I had to switch off Depth of Field just to be able to see something (anything). <_<

Does the Kaidan romance seem to give the option to hint anything about possible past feelings, or is it more discovering how they feel right now? I'm trying not to spoil too many specifics, but I know I'm not the only one head canon-ing that Shep lusted had feelings since ME1. :innocent:

I'm watching the beginning of the Cortez video and I'm CRACKING up at the fact that there are not only one option to turn him down but THREE. RIGHT IN A ROW. And they are the most blunt form of "not gay" ever.

Well it's a good thing if there are. That could actually mean beautiful goes to FemShep and handsome to ManShep. Why would they have two different lines for FemShep calling her beautiful or handsome?

Well it's a good thing if there are. That could actually mean beautiful goes to FemShep and handsome to ManShep. Why would they have two different lines for FemShep? And calling her handsome...

What? That's not my point. I'd have hoped that the entire conversation would be unique to manShep.

Yeah, it would be pretty depressing if all the comments were negative... there's always at least a glimmer of intelligence present no matter what. 

Anyway, we all know that homophobes are traditionally very active and outspoken.

I don't have them anymore, just listened to them once and deleted them. I got them from the big spoiler group. I think it showed the dialogue before a romance scene but it must have had some of the date files mixed in there. I get really confused with these audio files XD. But again femShep seems to have double the lines that mShep has, and it makes me sad XD. Can't know until I get to see the romance for myself though. I'm sure a lot of sound files are missing from what happens in the actual scene in the game.

 I didnt find it either, so either it doesnt happen, or the files or incomplete?

Ohh and I don't remember this line existing in "beautiful" version either. I could be wrong but I'm almost sure this lines happened only once and only with "handsome" in the files I got

I have no idea. I downloaded two versions, one from the spoiler group and one that I think you shared? I don't remember. Both seem to have more femShep lines. I have no idea if they are the full files or not, sorry :S

I will never understand this Ashley infatuation because frankly I can barely stand the woman but regardless for the sake of this argument I am going to pretend we're talking about someone I wanted.  

But even still do you really think it's okay to even suggest to get rid of these characters who others are looking forward to enjoy just for the sake of what you want?  Especially two f/f options who have been available from the moment you've met them.  Ok yes it's not fair that they treated Kaidan/Ashley this way, but how is this suggestion any better? 

Let's just say I could write an essay about the appeal of those other characters and the inherent motivation behind their creation, but I will refrain from that. In any case, if you thought for a moment that I was being serious or that BioWare would take me seriously, then I should have perhaps added a smiley for a hint.

Perhaps not the nicest thing, but it's not unfair. With Kelly, Liara, Samantha and Allers f/f still outweight m/m for all we know. Just because one doesn't likes the options, doesn't mean they don't count.

Wouldn't some of the lines be for a continuing romance, hence FemShep only? I don't see why they'd make the new romance any 'lesser' for ManShep.

It still sucks. IMO Allers looks like Snookie. Why would they do that when Ashley has been RIGHT THERE? They had planned for Kaiden and Ashley to be S/S options in the first game but canned it, and now suddenly Kaiden gets to be S/S and Ashley doesn't? I don't see the reasoning there.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Allers seems like a Kelly situation, in that shes not an actual squadmate, not an actual romance, another Kelly, which is extremely annoying.
