Sorry if you get asked this quite a lot, but i'm just wondering. Given all the new rumors and evidence presented over the past few weeks, what are the chances of the VS being a bisexual romance? I'm really just afraid to go looking through the thread-- with all the endgame spoilers going around.

Actually, I don't even plan on engaging.  I do plan on screen capping comments cause during all of this earlier hullaboo I came up with a great research project on what happens when media convergence goes wrong and people are verbally assaulted.  The trolls will be immortalized forever at conferences where geeky academics will mock them forever.  I'd say it's a just end.

I love your vindictive nature. Make sure we all get a chance to see the final project.

The hilarity of that mod idea also brings me back to the one time RPGCodex was actually capable of making me laugh. They were talking about how ME3 was going to be streamlined even more, only MaleShep would be playable but he'd be voiced by Jen Hale.

(This genie also properly guessed Dr. Chakwas, Benezia and Aria! Hehehe I'm going to be amused for a while I think)

That would be AWESOME. It would make the straight romances so much better. I guess they'd be straight, right? Or wavy?

Akinator guessed Cara, Max (Dark Angel) and Spongebob correctly. I'm mucho impressed.

Akinator guess Jessica Rabbit in very few guesses (even though one of the questions suggested she was a he).
He even got Mr. Spoon from Button Moon (god I'm showing my age) although was wrong the first guess.

If they would have made a new guy romanceable for male Shepard, he just would have been romanceable when we first met him. Kaidan wasn't romanceable for male Shepard from the start. Now he is, because Bioware decided it. You see, they could have just said Kaidan was straight, so that's why he wasn't romanceable for male Shepard. Making him be romanceable now makes it crystal clear Bioware has absolute power, that they didn't include any gay content, because they chose not to.
It's their game, their call. I know it's silly, but they didn't give us anything in ME+ME2, and now they've changed their mind, because they can, they're giving us Kaidan after all these years and I'm supposed to forget, to be grateful or what? And it's not like I'm just going to say "screw you" and "I'll buy another gay inclusive game" either, because what other gay inclusive game? There are barely any around. So, yes, that may deserve some gratitude.
Beggars can't be choosers. It's not a comfortable position to be in, I find.

Why am I bothered about this? I'm trying keep up illusions a little longer, trying to see that Vega is m/m

When was it ever not clear that BioWare has absolute power, that they didn't include any gay content because they chose not to? You think having James would somehow change that fact? You think just because I'm grateful that we're getting Kaidan (like we wanted, and not James, aka "the new guy I don't know and don't care about"), that I will somehow forget all the ridiculous excuses we got before? Why does it have to be either / or?
Okay, so you wanted James. Doesn't change the fact that m/m is still an afterthought. But hey, it is what it is, mistakes were made and now they're being fixed. Better late than never.

I know a lot of people think both VS will be "bi" but Bioware may just decided that Ashley is not because there are four female s/s options for Shepard already. Two are "real" and two are flings so each gender will get two s/s LIs. I wonder if there will be two m/m flings?

I optimistically look at it as an explicit acknowledgement that they made a mistake in the past, like a "we realize that we should've made Kaidan available from the start, and it's too late to redo what we did, so we'll let you romance him instead of continuing to deny you".  This will be proven or disproven if the franchise releases more games and progresses more in this area.
