What happened to this thread :( Now people are fighting each other? Thought we were all supposed to be happy we get ANY s/s content and just ignore trolls. Now people are fighting over how fair it is that Kaidan probably can be gay but Ashley can't? Come on! I agree that it sucks to all the Ashley people but we all should just be grateful they gave us ANY new options male or female.

I mean personally I'm shocked m/m has(probably) 2 choices. I've never had to CHOOSE who to romance(DA2 doesn't count for me, I really dislike elves) Now I gotta pick which guy I want.

The ladies have a lot more options too, we should be happy for that and just hope Ashley has at least some nice friendship dialogue... Not make fun of the ladies who wanted her, that's so not cool.

We can all get together and cry that Vega is the damn celibate hero who flaunts his body at every damn chance he gets. <_<

I have no idea what you're talking about Ric.

Yeah, I dunno who to choose. Never thought I'd have that problem in this trilogy,

Apparently, she hardly has any dialog with FemShep.

That's what I heard, I'm just hoping they were wrong. Heck I'm hoping they're wrong about the whole romance! We have basically confirmed all the M/M options, now let's speculate on her instead of making fun of the girls who wanted her! There's still a -chance- right? Never say never!

The amount of dislikes in the recent posting of a gay sex scene from ME3 on Youtube makes me question if there are still a lot of homophobia out there. My parents fear homosexuality, for one.

What happens with Kelly anyway, what with Samantha pretty much taking her place on the ship?

It's a Russian video. That's probably most of the reason. They're a LOT more closed minded. When people in the US start posting them they won't be hardly as lopsided. My videos are an example. The MShep/Thane vid is like 60/40, yeah there's still a lot of closed minded individuals but not NEARLY that many(at least in Europe/North America)

It's the internet. People can act like huge wankers and say things they wouldn't dare in person without any fear of reprisal. I don't think homophobia is that widespread, it just seems really terrible on the internet.

I'm a heterosexual, but to me, homosexuality is neither right nor wrong - whether people accept it is a reflection of social attitudes of the times. I do not care either way. I won't promote homophobia, but I wouldn't necessarily march in a gay pride parade either. So long as the state protects everyone on the basis of equality, without either promoting nor condemning homosexuality, I am fine with it.

But, if you rely on the Old Testament as your guide to morality, then yes, homosexuality is implied to be immoral.

Yeah, I just don't feel a connection to that whole image. But I guess I should drop it now.

In my high school, we had a Gay-Straight alliance, but everyone knew that it was mainly for LGBT people. There were few straight people who spent much time on the group. They might attend a few meetings, but overall, it was entirely dominated by LGBT individuals, with very little heterosexual representation in the ranks. I wonder why they simply didn't call it the "LGBT club".

Best way for homosexuals to gain acceptance in wider society is by conforming with most social norms (though public kissing/handholding is fine) while pushing for legislation that decriminalizes homosexuality and promotes equality under law. Gay pride parades undermine the LGBT movement because it tries to draw a line of division between homosexuals and heterosexuals when the line is barely visible at best.

Whew! *caught up on on pages*

I'm glad I missed the trolling. I thought I was going to have to report a couple of people. How unpleasant. Is it just me or does it seem like they're coming in here more frequently?

So any new info come out?

I think we're getting a little OT here Posted Image Also, my brain is playing tricks on me and I keep reading Heterosexual as Herosexual Posted Image

On a more on topic topic, I really need to get on with making a FemShep playthrough for Sam. But I find it so hard to make a decent FemShep with the creator Posted Image. And I can't decide what look to go for, paragon/ or renegade etc etc. When did this get so hard to do Posted Image

I'm hurt, you don't remember telling me how you are not exspensive even when you're not free with "romance"?

Yeah, that Kaidan, at least he gets me.

Don't think there's anything inheritly bad with Pride parades, there's hundreds of other non-LGBT examples and the most useful part of them is the stands and information given out to those needing help, or just not feeling alone. Not my thing but I at the very least got some contacts to various groups though one.
Why would a one day festival with music and stands providing help and leaflets to support groups be anymore damning then any other public gathering that may lack provision of information.
