I agree about the name-calling. However, I can only speak for myself, but I would have been happy even with just Vega.

Agreed completely. When I first heard that the VS would be a s/s option, and then after playing the demo I was really excited for the romance, but then to hear 4 days before release that it's only Kaidan? Talk about having the rug pulled out from under me. If I had known from the beginning that she (and Kaidan both) wouldn't be available, I would have said "well that sucks, oh well" and moved on. But hoping and waiting for so long only to find out at the last minute that she's not (and he is) is what has me so disappointed. Maybe after I give it a few days to settle in I won't be as upset, but right now I can't say I'm looking forward to the game even half as much as I was.

I have to agree with Aurellia. Most of you (myself included) would have been incredibly gutted if Kaiden hadn't been made a LI but Ashley had. You'd be calling foul, too, I suspect.

But, that being said -- maybe Ashley's just not queer. That's how I'm gonna headcannon it.

Checked Kelly's dialogues, the other LIs don't seem to be mentioned any longer. However, a dialogue in which you can tell Kelly that you "still have her" is still there. So unless it's unused, you can continue romance with Kelly.

I only play straight females and gay males but I am still bummed about Ashley mostly because I have BSN friends who have really been waiting for her and they have been supportive of this thread. What REALLY bothers me is that she appears to have limited FRIENDSHIP interaction with female Shepard (ME2 all over again) and continues to prove the theory that Bioware assumes if you cannot hump them you will not bother talking to them.

Of course that could just be a bug and if so I apologize to Bioware. Still pissed we cannot find out OFFICIALLY who the romances are for crying out loud.

That's just the ME team, I loved the friendship path my female Warden had with Morrigan/Zevran/Alistair and the friendships my Hawke formed in DA2.Edit: The funny thing is, according to LotSB and the CC screen in ME3, Ashley is supposed to one of your closest friends and Shepard and Ashley share a 'close bond', yet you have one single convo with her in ME3 after you recruit her

I havn't seen anybody say such things, except in response to remarks that it is somehow unfair/unbalanced that Kaidan is available for s/s and Ashley is not.

Can someone with pre-loaded game check the "Cloased" file and see which LIs grant "True Love"/"Paramour" achievements? In the demo it said Diana instead of Samantha, it was probably a bug/mistake but it would be better to verify it

That scene still seems to be there. But I don't know if it's actually used.

Might have been a little harsh, but if saying you knew Bioware would never let a female character be equal to their male characters just because Ashley wasn't romanceable for females isn't whining IDK what is. PS. I'm just an outsider and not gay, just thought it was a ridiculous thing to say.

I am taking everying posted on these forums with a grain of salt. Actually lots of grains of salt. Around a margarita glass.

But seriously, until that ME3 disc is happily spinning in my PC's hard drive and I'm physically seeing on my monitor what options are available to my Shepard I'm not going to stress out. So to Ashley fans I say don't give up hope!

This, this is something I too would expect in the thread by the people who were "offended" by femshepley but not in the FTL thread.

Please, nobody is "hating" here.  We're just trying to mitigate some of the "Bioware is sexist" nonsense.  I'm disappointed on behalf of everyone that wanted Ashley as f/f just like I'm disappointed on behalf of the people who wanted to stay with Jacob or romance Shiala.  It's just not something that was included, unfortunately, but they couldn't include everything that everyone wanted.

Cut until I can figure out how to color correctly.

More or less might confirm whether or not Steve gets two sex scenes.
