So, just to remove the ambiguity, I'm over at the spoiler group going through the audio files from the Origin preload.

There are two folders that contain the major Ash events: one for what I presume is a sex scene and another for a final goodbye with Shepard. The first has no FemShep lines in it at all, and the second only has MaleShep saying "I love you."

Sorry, folks, I was hoping for it, myself, but looks like it's a no-go.

So that's a romance dialouge and the bolded line shows femshep can/could have this conversation. So either it's cut or something else.

I think I stumbled across lines like these in the .tlk a little while ago, but I had no idea what I was doing, and I had no idea if they were even relevant.  Couldn't it still just be cut dialogue?

It sounds like we don't even have cut voice files for femshep though I'm not sure about that.  I'd be more than willing to pass the hat so we could hire Hale for one VO session though!

I know.  Every time I come here the evidence has switched to whether she is s/s.  I think I am just going to runaway since it is currently on a high note.

If it had turned out that Ashley was available for S/S, I have to wonder what the reaction would have been like. Something about turning every main female character into a straight male's lesbian fantasy, likely? I think I have to resign myself to the fact that I'm never going to be truly happy with how BioWare is going to handle S/S romances; they're always going to seem a bit suspect. Which is odd. And hard to explain.

Each character has their own conversation at the end of the game, where they say their final goodbyes to Shepard.  No mentions of love or a relationship from Vega for either Shepard; best you get is that he gives you a nickname, from what I can see.

I kinda suspect it's more of a "Vega is totally cool with gays (he's friends with Steve and teases him too) so doesn't mind mShep flirting and will even tease a bit" thing, based on what Collider posted Perhaps something kinda like mShep can hit on Traynor :unsure:

I wonder if James' romance was cut off (what little was written of it at least) because a lot of people didn't like his looks...would suck if they went 'meh, let's just cut it off, they don't like him anyway'. :/
