I believe both Shepards can flirt with him. There is a question whether or not he is more favorable to female Shepard. Or I just may be hopelessly confused at this point. Too many conflicting spoilers.

I will post what I said in the James Vega thread here...

Basically from the dialogues I have audio for and have listened to he is such a flirt its hilarious! I won't spoil it but basically when you eventually ask him if he is going to act on any of his insistent flirting he starts mumbling and gets all shy and Shepard walks away teasing him.

But he doesn't turn down Shepard. You can head canon his romance to pieces honestly if you are so inclined. There are lines still in the game where Shepard can get jealous at Vega flirting at a certain someone. There is also a line from sheploo saying Vega is such a tease and the way Sheploo says it is flirty as well but I didn't see as much opportunities for Maleshep to flirt with Vega as I saw for Femshep so that to me is
still up in the air.

but yeah I call him the shamless flirt romance.

But my poor Femshep *sigh* In that playthrough I killed off Kaidan and now she doesn't get any males to romance? Not even a proper friendship with Ash? You can't start a new romance with Garrus can you in ME3?

All dialogue has to be on disc for the 360/PS3. The patch is probably multiplayer information.

Ok apparently the patch is 200+ mb for PC but might be smaller for consoles. Space Edition dude had to DL a 16mb patch but not sure if that was confirmed to be that same patch or not.

I'm just grasping at straws here really lol. I was a lot less prepared to be re-disappointed than I thought I was.

Ah well. Not that I'm just going to outright dismiss Samantha on the principle that she's new (or, well, even specifically require a f/f romance for my Shepard. I'd happily import an o/s romance if there was actually one I'd be interested in besides Garrus), but urgh disappoint. It's funny, really. I've actually ended up not getting anything that I wanted out of all this. Almost feels like it was a waste of my time.

Apparently in the male Shepard dialog Kaidan mentions that a being from another dimension teleported in on him during a mission and shot him with a gay indoctrination ray. This being (known only as "IsaacShep") then proceeded to drag him to a shower and washing him thoroughly with Old Spice Hair and Body Wash in a very innappropriate yet stimulating manner. Kaidan admits that he kinda liked and hoped that he could do it again with Shepard sometime.

I don't think they could reproduce (probably you couldn't cross-species fertilize).

But they might have penis/vagina, so I imagine sex could just be whatever. But if that's your thing, probably you'd have an easier time just having a swim in a pond somewhere.

Ah, that's right. I forgot that fact from the codex (and seriously, I've been playing all this past month; I should've recalled the fertilization bit).

They have special proceedings where they decide which eggs can be fertilized, and the rest become males voiced by the same two or three actors.

And I sense it is also time for praying the Isabela Godess. (Will Kaidan Indoctrinate your item ? Probe your planet ? Fill your cargo bay ? Honor your Hanar ?) I'm putting way too much effort in this ...
I feel bad for S/S Ashley fans, even if I didn't really like her. I guess Bioware decided Kaidan was equal to Liara in that case, even if not everybody loves smurfette (for some reason I always feel like I'm talking about Snooki when I use this word) Well, at least we got Kaidan

Now now. We didn't ask for Vega either...though even after we knew about him, we still didn't get him...with Allers...you have to wonder how big a check IGN cut Bioware for her...<_<

I have to admit the reaction to Cortez video wasn't exactly... positive.

I'm more annoyed that even though it's optional and there are three or four opportunities to back out of the romance, people are absolutely freaking out over the slightest possibility of gayShep.

"oh no I'll never see Sheploo the same way again, RUINED" etc

Interesting. He's so much more serious about this with Sheploo, while he's a lot more flirty/sweet with femShep. I was hoping that the 'I want to understand what this is between us and make it real' line was for mShep as well. It felt fitting. Oh well.
