That is a great illustration, who's the artist?[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wizard.png[/smilie]
I think this is the artist's blog: http://m1911.blog126.fc2.com/
not sure though, RinjiRenee linked us to this in Kaidan thread
EDIT: RinjiRenee confirmed this is indeed the author's blog. I think it's the only MaleShep/Kaidan work he's done but there are tons of other great pics (many from L.A. Noire) check them out guys!

This has been done already if I remember well. Liara in ME1 tells you she had been reading your profile or something because she wanted to discover what kinds of things had made you the woman/man you are.Siansonea II wrote...
I do think that if the s/s LIs are bisexual, there should be a different feel for the two versions of the romance, and that the LI should make references to Shepard's gender. I would much rather hear the LI say "You're a beautiful man, Shepard" than "You're beautiful, Shepard".
Subtle details like that one are okay, it's polishing. But I'm not sure changing the general vibe of the romance would be a good idea. Some reasons:
- Having fundamentally the same lines ensures both versions have the same quality, something that could easily be lost if you do two different romances, ending up with one of them receiving greater care (and we all know which one it would be).
- Even if both of them are equiparable in terms of depth and jokes and everything else, people will like one over the other. You could end up with a mainly manshep player who likes the femshep/ashley romance better, or viceversa, something that we could avoid simply by making both romances equally.
- I honestly don't see anything wrong with a LI treating both Femshep and Manshep the same way. Why should that be a problem?

It was, but then the picture link got all wonky for me, so I unlinked it. The site probably isn't friendly for hotlinking (my bad entirely). But if someone else has it then game on!

But I also noticed that Fenris and Isabela plan a fling in the third act if you aren't romancing them and I wonder if there will be any "pairing off (straight or gay)" in ME3. I don't see why Shepard should be the only one thinking that "this could be my last chance for multiple Os before the big battle." But even more than that, I'd like to see cliques forming in the squad, even if they aren't romantic.

I don't really get the outrage over Bioware "suddenly springing" same-sex relationships on us now. Maybe my gaydar needs recalibration, but when FemShep talks to Ashley on the Normandy in ME1, I definitely detect flirtyness.

I think Hale and Brooks sound steamy together.

(that was while the info was still floating around that there would be no new romances in ME3)
and I definately wouldn't mind drawing some more, hopefully the DA watchers don't feel I neglect mHawke/Anders too much then

Well, you do know that L2s have suffered horribly at the hands of the Alliance and Cerberus...
SHEPARD: Kaidan! YOU brought the Reapers to Earth! Are you indoctinated?
KAIDAN: NO! The plight of the L2s has been ignored for TOO LONG! There can be NO ROOM for compromise!
EDIT: Okay, I'm stopping now 'cause I just scared myself.

I'd cry if that happened. Giant tears of sorrow and rage.
It's cute though I'd love if Shep had a "" look on his face.

True, true, but Kaidan doesn't have a crazy spirit of Vengeance inside him. He glows for another reason, lol!Abispa wrote...

Ah well, we'll see how Kaidan is in ME3 at the right time, anyway.

@ Toby Flenderson: This thread is not intended to discuss retroactive continuity.
In response to other parts of your post, I think a lot of people would like to see Hendel Mitra as a male s/s option, he's a very compelling character in the books, even though he doesn't get a lot of "page time".
I personally would not prefer Zaeed as the s/s male option, but only because I dislike the character, not because I don't think it would make sense.
Not trying to offend just pointing out that Boware has already insinuated a number of characters as having certain sexual preferences and would perefer they did justice to existing caracters and look leswhere for s/s remances, mainly Hendal Mitra. The main point of my post was my overall fear and lothing for the draeded R word (retcon if I wasn't clear enough) and the mess they made of DA2. When I posted this the topic of past insinuations had not yet been made and I was preempting/starting that train of thought (which has since grown fruit).

Mmmhmm althought Ali Hillis/Liara and Hale/Shep sound pretty steamy together on and off screen too.

not yet, just wait till he goes to 'embrace eternity' with Justice, erm that Justicar
boost his biotic powers, but makes him crazy ... and my Shep would still love him
or maybe it's me being aquarius and wanting to help/heal him
