Well, the Alliance WAS trying to think ahead. I mean, Kelly was BI, so a male captain could seduce her, but the Alliance forgot that Shepard as male isn't canon, just more common.

Or maybe the Alliance put a lesbian yeoman for male shep cause they were tired of him sexing anything with legs.

Thank you for mentioning the song So Close by Jon McLaughlin! I love him! That is one of my favorite songs ever!

So Close in my own personal interpretation could be also a song between the VS and Shep that love each other but are still trying to get over there trust issues.

I know for my Femshep and Kaidan there song is

The lyrics just match so perfectly I couldn't ask for a better song.

I haven't found a song for Vega yet to match my utter disappointment. I am sure I'll find something soon...

On the subject of the same-gender romance and all the controversy that comes with it if Fox News makes a stink about when Mass Effect 3 is released Fox News as a media company would end halfway between dying and dead pretty quickly.

If s/s affairs in ME3 appears on Fox News it'll be forgotten about ten seconds after it airs. The fanboy rage on forums, however, appears to be relentless.

If there's one thing I find annoying is media looking at ME3's same sex options as groundbreaking, or history making thing, and yet we've had same sex options since Jade Empire and beyond. And DA2 came out last year.

Yes, it's great that ME3 finally has a Male option, but same sex in ME isn't new. Especially when ME already had Liara (did people forget about her?) and Kelly. Hell, ME2 had you romance a birdman, and nothing happened with that.

Those types of things are pretty superficial (Thane could just have a different nickname with MaleShep). The core of the romance is the same as would be most dialog.

I don't think Siha is superficial, but agree to disagree.

As for giving extra dialog...I don't see the point in allowing one gender to have more content over the other. In this case, it's probably necessary b/c Kaidan wasn't an option for males in the first game.

I'm not advocating extra dialog and unequal amount of content.
I suspect that female Shepard newly romancing Kaidan simply has a unique conversation that fulfills the same purpose as male Shepard's. In which case it's equal but different.

M/M romances in ME3 are new in the trilogy.

So far as what I've actually seen? Yes, more or less. I think new found attraction that developed in Mass Effect 3 was the best way to go.

It more like we are still trying to figure out if the same-sex romance for Kaidan has been impletemented or not. Also the only clue we have are the audio files (which I haven't listened to), and they can only give half of the picture.

I believe in bisexual Kaidan! No WAY Bioware would take him away from S/S fans AGAIN, not after recording all that dialogue. That would just be cruel. My manShep is definitely getting some Kaidan lovin' in ME3!

My main Shepard has definately had his eyes on Kaidan since ME1, and if he doesn't get that, the Reapers can come!
