Why have we stooped to showing pictures of near-topless Femshep with Ashley Williams to her side and back a bit?I fail to understand why we need to post these kind of raunchy pictures. Is posting these pictures really needed?

Probably they were playing either ME 3 Demo special weekend where you can get more unlocks or just like me trying to get their Shepards ready for ME3.

Why on earth I keep getting Salarian Inflitrator? I don't want any Demo races but it would be nice to have somethings as they said they will carry on to the ME3. I hope I can unlock Drell Adept asap when game hits live.

Seems like I should get grinding on MP. But I am still not fussed about MP, but I am not anti-MP that I was last week.

Wait, I thought subtext was just an anagram for buttsex!

(EDIT: GAY KAIDAN GAY KAIDAN GAY KAIDAN. There. Now this comment is on-topic. *whew*)

Is it weird I checked this out? Wonder if it's an old joke like all Subtext was homoeroticism (probally not far off true now).

Mind Blown.

Going to be so busy this week if the game comes I think i'll have to cut out sleep and food to make time to play it.

Sleep! Sleep! What is this sleep you speak of?

I completely agree with you ilanaisatree. If we didn't have raunch in this thread we would be talking about massive spoilers and go completely off-topic.

I have to wait 'till Friday. While I hate waiting it will be nice to have it on Friday so I won't have to worry about work and can spare all my weekend to ME 3.

Just need to decide if I should use one of my ME2 imports or start a fresh new Shep to see game so I can continue RPing others.

Only thing vauge, at least for me,is MP's impact on each Shepard's run. Should I save my MP madness for my main or level one adept and engineer for each one of my Sheps. Judging by waiting time on MP server I doubt getting into matches will be as easy as demo. We will lack freebies and I guess that will impact MP greatly.

I think I've reached the point where I'm more excited for M!Shep getting into Kaidans pants than I am for the rest of the story... and I don't even care ^_^

also my computer crashed and now I have absolutely no save games anymore and no computer to play ME3 on

I sooooo know how you feel reguarding MShep and Kaidan. And as someone who has just had their computer serviced and still has problems with it, I feel your pain.

I'm just feeling a bit fatalistic, honestly. If you excise the entire last section, ME3 looks like an amazing game with incredible set-piece main quests and deep character connections.

But that 5% just makes me nihilistic about the rest of it. Even the s/s stuff.

Heh. As much as I'd love to get in pants of Kaidan/Steve as next gay guy, on ME3 I am more looking forward to see shower scene with Samantha. ^_^

Does any one know if EDI will be squadmate or crewmate? I am a bit worried about my Ashley alive runs. Kaidan/Vega will be regular team set up for my 2 sheps. Other three still a bit vauge... I don't want Liara, Tali or Garrus on my team. That leave Ashley, Vega and EDI combination.

I feel a little of the same (or a lot, depending on how much I think about it).

It seems such an ignoble end to relationships that took three games to cultivate. This is the sort of thing you can pull off in a standalone story, not a trilogy that to date really only forces a single tragic moment.

The downside for me is that it makes a lot of the character building of the previous games pretty pointless, which I just know will remove any real motivation for me to ever play them again.

Probably I'm going to have to play half or so of ME3, and then stop to do final runs of ME and ME2 before playing ME3 all the way to the end (with the expectation that after I decide which save(s) I want to take all the way to the end and do so I'll never play any of the three ever again).

She's an engineer squadmate. Keep in mind that at various points the VS won't be available, and you don't have Garrus/Tali right away.

The problem I have is that I don't see how it's going to be possible to ever play the previous games again.

I did a run through both recently to get some fresh saves, and I was planning on going back for another, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to.

Right now, my plan is to play through half or two-thirds and then go back and do what would likely be the final runs of ME and ME2 I ever do.

And then I'm going to have to figure which save(s?) I actually want to take all the way to the end. And then the ME saga will be permanently done.

Play style wise it is really hard to get earlier version of latest Bioware games. After playing demo ME2 looks so clumsy. Same applies for Dragon Age 2. Even I like ME2 and DA:O storyline so much I feel restricted after later games fluid combat. I don't remember how many times I rush onto a Krogan while trying to roll into cover in ME2.

This also why I don't interested in playing non rolling MP races (Krogan or Turian). Humans are best for my monkey fighting style. Power - Roll - Shot shot shot.Posted Image

Doesn't bother me at all.

I would die of joy were different gameplay mechanics the only thing to worry about. I can still play ME and have fun, but knowing and experiencing the end of the story that we're getting in ME3, I'm fairly sure I'm not ever going to really want to again.

Maybe it will grow on me. You can't know these things for sure in advance. But as I get the sense from ElitePinecone's post, I too just mostly feel like crap about it, try as I might to keep a brave face.

Ah I see now. I spoiled myself with endings way before those leaks come to public knowledge and rage began. Now ME3 is more about path leading to end not ending. I can't also see myself playing other games after I run out variables and see every bit of game.

Then will wait for Dragon Age 3. I wonder how they will handle S/S options on DA after reaction to ME3 ones (like exclusive S/S options). I swear if they will push another elf male for S/S romance into my face, I will go straight on every DA games.

I don't think the DA team would be interested in non-companion romance.

We'll see, I suppose, but I think they have other priorities (and because the companion space is limited, so to speak, gender exclusivity, even homosexual, probably is off the table).

As far as elves, with DA2, it's your CHOICE. If you don't like Fenris, romance Anders. If you don't like Anders either, then do whatever you want. They have given you, for the first time, the same options as everyone else. They're not "pushing" anything on you, and you're just as free as every other player to find the romance that works for you, or to do without if you find none.
