Because there is no friendship path, it's either nail her or lead her on to get a bonus and a bonus from that should be nothing more then a slap in the face. But that's not what it sounds like so far.
In other words, playing a gay shep and not a Varren scale rot Shep might make you miss out on story and not just a romance story...you know BW alienating half the people in this thread again.

I've been watching LP Mass Effect 3 videos. Now my enthusaism about game nearly died. If I have to find a positive side, at least areas look awesome.

Total WTF moment was with Captain Bailey.

@Ric - well, yeah, I can see how that would be a little disappointing. But I don't think many people romanced Kelly, male or female, so in case of the story, it's not just people in this thread, but in general. But I doubt her subplot, whatever it is, is remotely important.
Note: I don't care, I liked watching her get liquified. Uh.. because it was...so sad.

Also, LMFAO at "scale rot". That was great!

Of all the things to have an effect, even provide additional minor story or codex's to the game it shouldn't be this, it alienates too many for no good reason, if she had a real friendship arc it'd be a different thing but you're either in a "doesn't really count" romance, cheating or leading her on under false pretenses. Ie. Shep: I'd do you Kelly: I promise to take care of your fish forever Shep: J/k then but you have to stick to your promise kthxbye.
I didn't mind Kelly myself, if the drinking scene could be achieved without flirting I would have done it but this? just no, this is seriously the most annoyed I've been out of any news I've heard. I'm sure it's her that brought that onto the normandy btw, when Mordin mentioned it.

ps. Don't think my anger has let you escape my curiousity. You'd only do that if you can make ME3 appear in my house early, so I'd be too distracted by Kaidan.

Also that annoying reporter now looks really nice. Some people had really good facelifts between ME2 and ME3.

I jumped forward while watching videos for leaving at least some unique moments in game. I hope the guy making those videos is a Liara fan... otherwise it reminds me what Jack says to Miranda after you recruit her... you know the one goes like "Hear that precious! We'll be good friends. You, me and every little embrassing secret"

However lost my interest with ME3... well at least ME2 as I have very negative thoughts about game. When you see things negatively everything seems wrong... or let's say you start to look in the eye the things you happily didn't bother with.

I didn't see Samantha on those videos. It was all Liara, Liara and more Liara. James looks cool too bad he ain't LI. I would happily make one more run for him with suitable gender.

His post is pretty laughable, actually, when you play the Mars level, and listen to the dialogue.

Ashley may still have feelings for MShep, but they are very far from "lovey dubby" at that point.

Don't know about any s/s for FemShep yet as I've only played MShep so far, but Samantha seems really likeable. And funny!
