Samantha does show that she is valuable on the normandy. Thanks to her, there are many things happened, and you could even praise her at one moment for something particular she has done. She just needs more content, with cinematics.
How is the romance with her ? Is it awful like Diana Allers ? like interview, and hop immediately, close the door and come on baby ? There's at least a progressive path ?
The romance is pretty much she comes up to your room to play Chess, shower scene happens (in that dialogue.) You get a couple flirty...banters? (I don't know what to call the non scripted dialogue) and then another romance cutscene before the Cerberus base mission. Finally you have a talk before you head off to Earth. However you do not get an option to call her while you are on the camp, so there is no real final goodbye except for the pre-mission one...which well...it wasn't bad but the ending kinda makes it really sting...
And that is the Sam romance, the dialogue and sutff is written to imply she and Shep care about each other, and I could see it if she had more content, as I /do/ like the character for all my whining. It is just so abreviated. It feels rushed because there is no date scene before you hop into bed with one another. Also the shower scene is very silly.
