Yeah by Ashley and Jack both. My jaw dropped when Ashley said "you and convict with shaved head". Posted Image

When you compliment her new looks she says something like "Do you want to pin me on the side deck again!". With Garrus and Liara in my team I kinda felt ashamed.

Hah she also says Garrus that his face still looks like sh*t!.

Jack is awesome.

Actually now I am kinda sorry my original save is gone and I had to rush to the end instead. On original my Renegade shep also counted as romanced with Miranda even he didn't get romance scene with her. I wonder what would Ashley said about that...

Ashley: You and convict with shaved head, cerberus b*tch, your yeoman! Should I count more...
Shep: That was a mistake

I am tempted to go back and do that save again. As ME2 import counted Miranda without sex scene as romance maybe on that save Tali would counted as romance as my Shep was flirting with her too.

Oh and Ashley also mentions if you go all renegade to her on Mars.

One difference with Kaidan and Ashley hospital visit. Ash's conversation fluidly pass to investigate part after auto starting conversation. While you need to re-click on Kaidan to get start that second conversation.

It's like that with several characters, most likely a bug/oversight. But yeah, conversation should just fluidly transit to investigation

As long as Shep keep saying that damned things on date scene, that little thing looks like nothing. That lines makes me feel sorry for Kaidan... he doesn't deserve that.Posted Image

Edit: Also my main goal on Renegade run was suppose to skip Grissom Academy and see terrible fate of Jack but couldn't do it. Still can't decide about if I should doom Tali or not, which was also part of my original plan. However seeing familar faces die hurts so much.Posted Image

Still, I've enjoyed the little commentary from Kaiden when I talk to him between missions. He's so cute, specially when he talks about how he can't stop grinning.

When does he say that? I haven't listen to that one. Maybe it's new femshep's and imported romance only.

I'm playing mShep. <.<

So far talking with Kaiden after every mission has delivered several lines...(not the full line. memory isn't that good. xD)

'I know I'm supposed to act professional, but i just can't stop grinning.'
'Why didn't you wake me up?'
'I know a place that still has steak...'

and probably a few others that I can't recall off the top of my head. maybe i'll do a replay (withought the ending) and write them all down. xD

I just want to let everyone know that I do not approve of said comments, they are just shocking to me. Can I just say that I am happy that this threat hasn't degraded into that kind-of ugliness, granted it was a close call when Ashley was revealed to not be a same-sex romance option, but we haven't gotten that far. And I hope we never do.

<_< Now look who's resorting to disgusting hyperbole. Just let it go, dude. Accept that just because you're happy with your particular catering doesn't mean the catering was perfect for all of us and we have every right to say so.

Question: anyone notice any references to non-asari s/s NPC couples in ME3? I count at least two female human/asari couples but no f/f of other races and no m/m of any races.

m/m is easy, Steve and his dead hubby. Posted Image

I also noticed those Asari/human female couples.

While mentioning Asari, am I the only one get overly emotional with Krogan Poet/Asari romance ending? I was so happy for them on ME2.  Posted Image

I've only spotted one obvious female Asari/female human couple, and they were not exactly a shining example.

The human female of the pair was in the process leaving her soldier boyfriend/husband/whatever for the Asari. I think they were disagreeing on it - the Asari reckoned she shouldn't tell her boyfriend about them, if I remember rightly, but the human female wanted to do it right. (I was actually paying attention to them, and getting increasingly disgusted by it as it unfolded.)

They were missing after the Cerebus raid on the citadel. (Actually, I'm not sure... I think I spotted the human female of that pair, seated next to a human male (I presume the boyfriend/whatever), looking very much like she is squirming uncomfortably - the asari is missing completely).

Overall, I'd have to say I'm not happy with their treatment. Of all the couples in the game, why did it have to be the f/f couple that were exemplars of how NOT to conduct yourself in an relationship? (And with a bad ending too!)

Anyway, I think I have spotted one male human pair that could (if you squinted and tilted your head just right, and held your mouth just the right way) be a couple. (They're on the Citadel too, somewhere, just standing about.)

I actually thought the guy at the entrance to the bar was going to say eventually "Because you're a girl and we like guys only" or something, till it's just because she's a bit off...putting it mildly. Good to see in the future guys get beaten up for writing poetry too....

Kaidan was so sweet, am I the only one that felt like screaming at Shepard "Show some feeling man!  You aren't signing a damn contract!"  That's how it felt to me.  They could have at least hugged for crying out loud.  I get to paragon kiss Steve, why not Kaidan?

Lol,
I think I was already feeling that the first time around.  Who could not after the crying scene, rememberance wall scene and anyone that snuck a look at his "date" before going back to meet Kaidan?  In DA2 it was a simple easy choice for me every time, I don't think ME3 will be so cut and dry.

I thought the same, I cracked up listening to it but then it became clear what it was really about.  I wish I could remember the exact line she said about her ****** when the guy said "because you're a girl"

He doesn't get "beaten up"  He gets um... *spoilers* slaughtered by Rachni.

I like how the Shep/Steve thing worked out. They've both lost people/friends/etc. so it didn't feel like a rebound relationship to me.

If you miss that convo doesn't that get you the "friendship" speech from Kaidan?  Ohhh, it's a conspiracy :o

You can't kiss Kaidan because that scene is more like Shepard settles for Kaidan (forgive my language here) as he can't find anything good to f**k. As you said Shep takes a logical decision there... That guy is hitting on me, I am alone for 3 years.... My balls are blue... Better get laid before end of the world. Kaidan Romance:Approved.

It makes a bit sense with Shepards have prior romances. However for non romanced Shep a simple "I'd like to" accompanied with a smile would work like magic. I think writer was trying make scene more emotional and maybe more logical to himself.

Poor Kaidan he has to swallow all the jerk Shep throws at him. At least you can space that stupid conversation and enjoy the rest. Romance scene and farewell talk make it up thousand times. Too bad ME3 doesn't have kiss option like DA:O. Then Liara could fight while I was playing kissy face with Kaidan.Posted Image

Yeah I know. I cried every damn line on that last poem and stupid thing took like forever.Posted Image

However if you didn't make them come together maybe there is another out come for it. I remember that poem was mentioning a daughter.

That's true. But it would probably be glitchy, with husks crawling all over Shep/Kaidan while kissing... M.

There's also a human female in the embassies (I think she appears after the cerberus coup) talking to a clerk asking if she could have her daughter sent to her wifes family on Thessia (because her wife was shipped out and she's going to shipped out too soon, and her own family disowned her after she married an asari).

Uh, Jacob and femShep?! :P

Or any of the romances where Shepard cheated on someone.

I thought the asari-human couple just cleverly gave more background to the war atmosphere - we had maimed soldiers, traumatised veterans, civilians contributing to the war effort, why not the old staple of partners back home finding new love?

Meer's just not the best with romance lines. Ain't different with m/f romances either. In 90% of all romances he sounds like he's talking to a friend, in the remaining 10% (Tali romance from ME2), he sounds like a sex offender lol. Hale may sometimes sound like a sex offender too (Jacob romance lol), but especially in ME3 she sounded good in romances, like she really cared. It ain't that big of a deal to me, I've accepted long time ago that Meer's just not super-stellar in this role and frankly, I don't care what and how he says things. Shep is still a RP character even if BW tried damn hard to make him/her more pre-defined in ME3. To me it's all about my choices and what I think and how characters respond to it. Shep's lines are just platform to deliver what I chose in the game. Steve and Kaidan's voice actors carry the m/m romances well enough on their own.

It's a testimony to how well they pulled off our 2 m/m options in ME3, both are great and many people actually have a hard time deciding, more replayability potential :D

I wasn't trying to bash anyone, nor was a gloating about Kaidan and not Ashley being a same-sex LI, I was merely stating that the comments that were being made when we found out that Ashley wasn't a same-sex LI were ugly (I shall not go into that mess again) but they didn't seem to be a ugly as the comments I was commenting on and all that hate that is coming from that direction.
