I don't know your games but rest of my crew were snoozing in Normandy while Shep, Miranda and Thane/Zaeed working their asses off in battlefeild. One of them surely can give a break to their beauty sleep and pilot us.:pinched:

But it was never shown and if one of the squadmates was piloting Kodiak, it made no difference to the story nor did Shep communicated with them in anyway. Feels just empty, it's as if there was no Joker and they just explained "ohh just one of the unused squadmates pilots Normandy". Yeah no. Steve should've been in ME franchise since ME2 when they introduced the Kodiak for most transport

If I have to pick someone who should've been on ME2, it would be Samantha Traynor. She is better than Kelly in most aspects and ladies could start loving him from ME2. Then maybe that shower scene ain't feel that creepy.

The cynic in me says that if Steve was in ME2 he would have had a wife on Ferris Fields not a husband.

There's one point at the bar, I believe it's when you can choose between 'waiting for the right man' or woman, the expression on Shep's face is incredibly intense. It looks as if he's ready to either jump Cortez and have sex right on the bar, or maybe beat the crap out of him. You might not notice it if you answer too quickly, because the camera moves to a different angle sometimes if you wait on a dialogue option.

And the guy on the dance floor, the "eye-candy" guy, is kinda creepy if you pay attention before talking to Steve. He's just standing on the dance floor, not really dancing, constantly staring at Steve.

Edit: Also, people were complaining about being ninjamanced by Steve? Really? Even if you get to the point that you dance together, there's still an optioin to just stay friends!

lol yeah, the guy Steve comments on looks weird xD As for Shep's rape faces, at this point I'm so used to them I don't even notice. Some of the faces he makes during Kaidan's romance are just lololol Still, nothing near as bad as the entire Talimance in ME2 where Shep looked and sounded like a professional predator lol

I do. He's a really compelling character and made me forgot about wanting Vega for m/m romance. Even if Vega was available, I would still prefer Steve. I'm really satisfied with m/m options in ME3. Better then I expected. Especially Steve being non-squadmate. They developed him as if he was a squadmate, he has more to say and more interaction than Tali for example

Very hard not to agree with that seeing as only lesbians existed in the ME universe before ME3.  Going by the lesbian couples in the background on the Citadel, maybe Shep, Steve, Robert and Kaidan are the only gays in the universe ;)

I remember reading somewhere one of the characters from Novels is also gay. Then there is that one Turian male who has interest in human males (if my memory serves the one hunting Vorcha in Omega).

I just had a look at that Priestly thread and all I can say is "wow". I certainly have an idea of what type of people Mr. Priestly is scared of the "very small and rabid fan base" scaring off. Thank the maker he does not run BioWare.

Hahaha, so THAT's what the Ardak Yashi (wrong spelling probably) really are, it makes sense now as to why my Shepard was forced to try and sleep with her in ME2!

To be honest Steve has more interaction than some ME2 squadmates... at least even they are similar in size file, Steve has meaningfull things to say.

After seeing Vega in game, do you still think he could be a M/M option? I guess I am the only one finding him physically repulsive (I don't like his personality and voice acting too but there are too many people who likes those so skipping them). He acts and looks like terrible human/primate hybrid, especially when he waves his arms up and down. Same weird anatomy also can be found in Diana, she looks unlifelike. Like a female grown up Chucky except big knife but with ugly dress.

I wouldn't say I found him repulsive but I never thought he was attractive.  His head looked too ape-ish to me, like he hadn't quite evolved with the rest of humanity and the body was too overdone and unrealistic.  I think he looks much better in the game than early pictures showed but I'd take Steve over him any day because he a *much* better character.  Vega has a lot of growing up to do.  Even though I didn't dislike Vega as I thought I would, I thought he was a bit of a redundant character and very underdeveloped for someone introduced in the final game.

I wouldn't mind Vega as m/m option at all, would be happy, but with Steve and Kaidan, I don't feel like options for my mShep are lacking so I ain't much "I NEEEED Vega" anymore

LOL ... my regular squads are Shep, Kaidan, and Garrus/Ashley in ME1; and Shep, Garrus, and Jacob most of the time in ME2 (I mean, how can I not take Jacob with an arse like that ... lordy ...).  ME3 playthroughs have mostly been Liara (until Kaidan is available) and Vega (I actually kinda like him ... I'm not into muscle-heads generally, but I think Prinze, Jr. does a nice job with the v/o).  Sometimes I swap him for Garrus.

I always figured that Miranda, unless needed for a mission specifically, should stay on the ship as XO.  And maybe the shuttle was being flown by Kasumi. ;)

One of my favourite film soundtracks.

I noticed a lot of F/F romances in ME2, mostly asari I think. Guess that's why M/M got overlooked, cause if anyone brought up the asari thing they could just insist that asari are "monogendered". They're monogendered all right, they're only females! / rage

Vega is there so that you have someone in your squad if you were too kill-happy in previous games. Otherwise, you're stuck with Liara and EDI for the whole game, they're the only "no choice" squadmates besides James. This way, you're guaranteed to have a Biotic, a Tech and a Pure Soldier available to you even if you got everyone else killed and didn't buy the Javik DLC. That said, I liked James as a character, and I think the character model is good and the voice acting is good, but I don't see him as an LI option for either m/m or m/f. He's just too young emotionally. I don't want to say immature, because his maturity level seems appropriate for his age, it's just that Shepard has seen and done so much more than James, and it would feel like a very unbalanced relationship. Of course, I always felt that way about the Tali and Jack romances too, so what do I know?

I didn't much care for Vega, he felt very college freshman jock to me, but I did love how like between Steve and my Shepard's comments he's probably questioning his sexuality every day. :P Poor guy!

Uuuuu... Thah would be nice. Maybe even some light flirting with MShep :D.
I've just edited coalesced.bin and increased all assets x2 (and all penalties and bonuses as well). I just don't want to play MP, but still get the "best" ending. Will test it now and see if the game breaks. I've also seen that EDI can survive deatroy ending. But I don't know how to be sure to make her appear (I usually get Javik as the third squad member?!?!?!). Maybe Joker+EDI+be nice to her will do the trick... Gah... M.

Tali can pop up in the ending too... even if she offed herself on Rannoch, it's just a buggy mess. I actually enjoy the MP but I feel guilty because I hate the endings and I know if their MP numbers are low they'll know something's wrong. I main a Drell Adept who is totally gay! :P Yay for gay Drell!

The Cortez love is just lovely. <3

Like Isaac said, he's just ideal to me in many regards. I don't really see the ninjamance problems, though. And I didn't see him as "whiny" or "stereotypically gay" at all, either. His personality is practical, he's down to earth, deep, with some tech/geek/nerdy goodness, hand-in-hand with intelligence, and physically he's quite pleasing to the eye.

I really liked Tali and Liara as well, but I saw both of them more as innocent and matronly sisters, respectively. Considering they'd been around since ME 1. Steve is fresh and feels "right" for my Shep in terms of relationship, gender not really making much of a difference.

Posted Image

... Stop distracting me so I can finish the romance(and the game)! I need to get past ^ that point of the romance!

My comment based on their in game models and their animations. Don't know who they are based on, don't know people they based on in case of Jessica Chobot.

Anyway back to main reason I am posting.

I finished Mars with Kaidan love interest flagged Matt. No problem so far but some pluses along the way.
- I can't remember exact lines on Mars questioning starter for unromanced male/Kaidan convo but Matt got
"Kaidan" "Don't "Kaidan" me reaction"
- During with Liara conversation, the one which blames herself for not realizing Eva earlier, if you pick paragon answer, Liara asks you how you go on. Reply to this question is same however instead of staring to emptiness, Shep looks to Kaidan and says same thing as normal run.
- I already love that convo over Cerberus thug, where Shep teasingly says "You were always stubborn". Now this scene became even more yummy. First Kaidan says "The person I love" to Shepard. Secondly during that stubborn line they are very playfull, Shep pokes Kaidan.
- Lastly, after Hackett and Liara conversation normal Shep says "I will check Kaidan and James". However now he says "I will check Kaidan" just like female shepard and voiced by Meer.

Back to game and will try to finish date scene and see if everything is okay that far.

Update: Okay first hospital visit botched. First line missing voice over and music plays weirdly which breaks immersion. Still Mars stage is so fun. Posted Image

hey all, i could use some help. when i get to ME3 with my vanguard fem!Shepard i been thinking of going with Samantha, but then Liara showed up. who should i romance?

i know most of you are going to say Liara, but Samantha is also a great character for what little dialogue she has.
