If I have to pick someone who should've been on ME2, it would be Samantha Traynor. She is better than Kelly in most aspects and ladies could start loving him from ME2. Then maybe that shower scene ain't feel that creepy.

I don't get the sense that Sam would ever join Cerberus. (Big points in her favor for both me and most of my Sheps, but...)

I suspect it would help a lot if she just weren't wearing underwear. That breaks the scene from the start and makes it a lot easier to notice other things, like Shep's creepy staring and the lack of buildup. I mean, it still needs to come after the chess scene rather than being mutually exclusive with it, and they need to actually, like, finish the romance (I can talk to an unromanced Steve in the endgame, but not a romanced Samantha?), but the underwear thing would be a huge start, is all I'm saying.

im really susprised Sam didnt get a citidel date scene like every one else (I also liked her alot more than kelly)

speaking of kelly I hate how you have to date her and keep her alive in the suicide mission to get your damn fish back (in ME2 she said she would feed my fish...she didnt and they died so i smoothied her in revenge)

Hate it too. I didn't have her in my ME3 at all since I didn't have diner with her (was afraid of getting into romance lol)

also she didnt give me all my fish on my paragon she gave me all but 1 kind of them... ugh (my sig states my feelings perfectly on this matter since I love fish video game or otherwise)

any one know if I can use gibbed save editor to give me the fish back without kelly?

ps nice sigs Isaac take it you amped up the brightness for the gif portion because the scene is so dark?

I always amp the brightness in the ME gifs I make. The "Kaidan for S/S ones" also have fixed brighness and tones, it doesn't really look that good in real game unless a scene happens in daylight or something :/

the lighting during the romance scenes with steve where a bit...bad it looked like at points that steve was nothng but a floating pair of eyeballs >_> really missed the me2 bedroom lighting (and bedroom radio) in me3

Anyway back to main reason I am posting.

I finished Mars with Kaidan love interest flagged Matt. No problem so far but some pluses along the way.
- I can't remember exact lines on Mars questioning starter for unromanced male/Kaidan convo but Matt got
"Kaidan" "Don't "Kaidan" me reaction"
- During with Liara conversation, the one which blames herself for not realizing Eva earlier, if you pick paragon answer, Liara asks you how you go on. Reply to this question is same however instead of staring to emptiness, Shep looks to Kaidan and says same thing as normal run.
- I already love that convo over Cerberus thug, where Shep teasingly says "You were always stubborn". Now this scene became even more yummy. First Kaidan says "The person I love" to Shepard. Secondly during that stubborn line they are very playfull, Shep pokes Kaidan.
- Lastly, after Hackett and Liara conversation normal Shep says "I will check Kaidan and James". However now he says "I will check Kaidan" just like female shepard and voiced by Meer.

Back to game and will try to finish date scene and see if everything is okay that far.

Update: Okay first hospital visit botched. First line missing voice over and music plays weirdly which breaks immersion. Still Mars stage is so fun.

Interesting, thanks for the update on this!  Mars does sound tasty this way, but it's too bad the hospital doesn't play out well.  Keep it comin' if you have time, I'm interested to see if it's worth trying to mod it for myself.

It looked good in my game, Steve's skin was nicely toned even though my graphic card sucks xD but it doesn't translate well well into tiny gifs. But it's nothing a bit of Photoshop wouldn't fix

Not gonna lie, I loled so hard when I saw that.  I was like Shepard, you perv. 
But it totally killed the scene a little. XD

My Shepard promised him to come back to him, and he did, because afterwards, I just went to the menu and clicked exit game, then Shepard shot the crucible, which killed all the reapers and a few weeks later, when things started to settle down, Anderson, took him, Steve, and Sanders on that tour to see London he promised him (or what's left of it).

I loved the romace, he actually does have more romance banter than Kaidan and I lol'd when he told me to go away so harshly and then said because I like the view while you walk away. It's gonna be tough to choose between him and Kaidan next time... (never thought that would happen with m/m romances)

haha yes I loved that "I like the view when you walk out" line xD He indeed seems to have the most lines in-between main romance scene, not only compared to Kaidan but also to other LIs. I'm very glad about it. I love ME3 romances, but the pacing is not the best, with date scene and sex scene being very far apart with all LIs. That's why the all the small lines between the scenes make such a difference in Steve's romance <3

Steve had my favorite romance banter in the whole game so far. After the geth dreadnought mission.

Steve: What was it like flying a geth fighter?
Shep: I don't know. Legion did the flying. We were stuck in a storage compartment.
Steve: Close quarters, eh? For the first time I'm jealous of your squad.
Shep: If you like, next time we can try under the bed.

And about the banter, I agree, those little flirty coments make the romance feel more fleshed out. I didn't know about other romances, though, since I only romanced Kaidan untill now.

@HopHazzard: I really like that one too, and the "I missed you" and "how am I supposed to concentrate with you around" ones. But my favourite quote was the famous STEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! at the end, I was wearing headphones and I almost went deaf.

Phew! Finally reached the date scene with Kaidan.

So far:
- On second visit I gave him whiskey. Other than 3 points during that convo everything else was okay,including song. I also get "Are you flirting with me Commander?" line.
- Third hospital visit run smoothly.
- After Udina coup, on Normandy visit got "ass shot" scene. My sheps eyes were glued to Kaidan's back.
- Headed back to Citadel and get a weird date scene. I say weird because it think it started like femShep convo, he mentioned Shep as someone he cared. Then turned to regular m/m convo. Is it sounded bad? If you think earlier flirting/love declarations a bit odd to be honest but not more odd than regular out of blue flirting. However that date scene conversation sounded more natural than regular m/m one.

Anyway have a save before date will check 'morrow after mail date one. It feels like Kaidan coming out of my ears. Also I think I never mentioned this one, sometimes Kaidan feels like a little child, being happy about little things or dreaming simple things... it makes him way much cuter.

Awesome, great info, thanks again.  Yah, I like the relationship naivete of Kaidan as written and done by Sbarge.  It's good stuff.  I also think it works well with the backstory.  When I have the time to do a full 1/2/3 playthrough, I may have to see if I can do the gender switch modding on 1 and try the whole thing through, and just grit my teeth through everyone calling me ma'am ...

Finished a FemShep run and I noticed something rather curious. Kaidan is far more, um... aggressive in the love scene with male Shepard. Which is not to say that I don't like that (because do I ever!), but it was clearly a deliberate choice and I wonder what the thought process was.

Not that I have anything against Steve, but is there a reason why the first sig on your posts is Cortez and not Kaidan, Garrus, or Vega?
