I just finished Dragon Age 2 and I must say that it's the best game I've ever played (Save for Mass Effect 2 ).

One of the quests had me pretty creeped out too...(Without spoiling anything, it was the haunted house quest).

Looking forward to the next installment in the series.

OP, Mike 9987 I am glad you enjoyed the game and think it was the best game ever. But as you can see that others in their own sarcastic way tend to disagree with you. Do not worry. You paid your money and got your enjoyment. Your opinion is the only one that needs to matter to you.

You're not alone Sedael I too felt this was one of the best games I've ever played. It took me a second play through before I was able to truly appreciate it though.

I found the haunted house was the perfect level of creepy and silly, just like a haunted house should be.

... really it seems, you haven't played many games ...
so how old are you, no offense, but it was really too dumbed down, that it could be remembered !

Think you should try Dungeon Siege III and soon Diablo III, that should fit your taste also ...
if you think you are really in CRPG , maybe try THE WITCHER II ... for me it was too easy, but fun and more RPG that many so called "pure" RPG ...

sorry DA2 was way too easy and no it isn't harder, if a goblin has 1000hp, when you play it on nightmare level or so...

Hey you didn't see what game the OP have played, did you? DA:O. ME2, DA:A. at least 3 RPG before DA2 he or she has played.

To OP: Glad you enjoy it. I myself don't consider it is the best game because it gets too much faults, but this game still gives me a strong impression. Maybe it is not great like its predecessor, but worth playing and enjoy all the time.

Glad you liked it, it makes me feel good to still see people that have that much love for a game, I hope as gamers we don't lose what this person has felt for this game. Way to go.

A person's opinion on the game is wrong apparently. Just obviously and horrendously wrong.


I like the game for its merits. I dislike it for its many flaws. But that's my view on it. Someone else's view is different and it is not my place to criticize them.

I, personally, don't consider it the best game ever (That's DA:O), but I really enjoyed DA2 and also can't wait for DA3. So I'm glad other people enjoyed it too b/c I'm just so sick of all the people that complained about it ALL THE TIME.

Glad you liked it. I really enjoyed playing DA2 (and still am) but I think it was to rushed for me to call it the best game ever. But that's just my opinion.

I really really enjoy Varric and Aveline, especially Aveline. I didn't dig her at first but she really grew on me and I loved that they didn't oversexualize her character. It just made her so much cooler. I usually just talk about what i don't like but this is a very cheerful thread so ...

It's that ridiculous pic about some dudes being butthurt that males hit on a male PC in DA2. Ra forbid. I don't even like the game that much and I think that's a ridiculous thing to complain about.

I dont know why people bring this up all the time. I'm entirely sure that none of the characters pursue a romance with you unless you start it. So its their own damn fault for not understanding what the heart symbol means
