No ;-) I just said that Shooters have low point of entry (shooters are simple and very easy to play) so it's perfect for stupid people. And they want to make RPG the same. Lower point of entry. But entire RPG genre supose to be complex right ? Not anymore i see... Years ago they NEXT game got new features, upgrades nad stuff. They try to make things better. Dont know what happened but now they do oposite thing.

One of the most stupid shooters was Prey. You was fighting with monsters, get killed, have some minigame and you return to fight. No penalty. To put this game to test i fight some boss only with basic weapons and no dodging of hiding. Gues what, it's take longer to kill but i still kill him and win. How ? Shoot. Get killed. Minigame. Shoot, get killed. Minigame. Shoot... bam... he is dead. Call of Duty ? Simple. You point, you shoot. If you get killed, you spawn 5 meters bofore place you were and do it again. Even enemies will be in the same place. Still, except hardest difficult settings, you just stand there and shoot. On hardest if you take too much bulletts, you take cover, wait 5 seconds to regein your health and go forward. Almost like GOD MODE. It's hard to get killed in a shooter! I didnt say that it's only for stupid people. I play shooters. Bad Company 2 on multiplayer, i did like old Rainbow Six games and few others. Still except few tactic games like SWAT, Rainbow Six and few others - shooters today are one of the easiest games out there.

EDIT: When you're not playing against 6 year old campers (and that's rare mind you), you do have to think about how you're going to kill someone in Call of Duty. It's not as easy as people make it out to be.


Of course, if you camp your ass off it's easy. Because you're camping.


But then there's also the objectives like capture the flag, sabotage, etc. You actually have to devise a strategy. Pointing and shooting isn't going to be enough.

Yeah but here you talk about multiplayer. That's different. I was talking about single player. Multiplayer is different story because everyone have same amount of health, armor (in some games). They can select weapons that they like. They need skills to dodge/shoot, brain to outsmart enemies and experience.
Best example - Bad Company 2. How you know that someone is fresh in BC2 ? After he shoot from a window he hide behind wall. Send him a granade... he will learn.

Single player has you facing AI and AI sucks for most games. It's not just limited to shooters.

Best game ever? No. I'd give that title to either Baldur's Gate II or Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Better than Dragon Age: Origins? I personally think so. Neither even in my top twenty, but I had far more faults with DA:O than I did DAII. For a game that was hailed as the "spiritual sequel" to Baldur's Gate II, it came off more as a better version of Neverwinter Nights. <sarcasm>At least Dragon Age II had exploding enemies.</sarcasm>

EDIT:  Cleared something up.  My rage against DA:O not even being close to Baldur's Gate II crossed by brain!

Sorry. I usually play female characters. I don't get multiple romance options in unmodded BGII. I'm stuck with Anomen. Stereotype on legs. Thank the Maker for Mods!

Really? Please elaborate. Because I am hoping someone with your superior intellect can give a better explanation than this one liner. Because last time I checked it requires a greater degree of intelligence to use a computer and or video game system.
