*If* Jack won't be a permanent squadmate but only a "cameo" character like Mordin or Legion (from what we've seen so far), what kind of role would you like her to play?

- special mission to destroy a Cerberus base
- special mission where exceptional biotic power is required

- a mission where Jack lets herself be captured by Cerberus to find the HQ and has to trust Shepard to have her back.
- Jack and Shepard should go on a mission to rescue Jacks favourite person in the universe, the cheerleader.

The mission should show how much she trusts Shepard and how much she has grown as a person, a mission she would never have done in ME2.

Well, I'll be happy (as happy as I can be with a cameo Jack) as long as Jack acknowledges the previous romance or something in the mission. And, if possible she and Shepard get to rut like a pair of pigs...............

For me it has to be taking down TIM. I want to see her face lit up with glee when together we cut off the cerberus' head, figuratively speaking. (Hopefully it doesn't really have three.)

If she's just a cameo I'd like a meaningful moment between her and non-romanced Shepards, to prove Shepard made an impact on her.

As much as I would like for Jack to be doing something not relating to Cerberus, its probably not a realistic possibility. So, if/when Jack hunts down TIM I doubt there will be a paragon speech check to turn him over to the authorities, since the galaxy is in shambles. But I really don't want Jack indulging in her revenge fantasies, and Shepard killing TIM for her or his own revenge would be hypocritical of him and would likely just alienate Jack. I hope there would be an option for Jack and Shepard to kill TIM together, because there needs to be some kind of paragonish choice.

In all seriousness, I can see this being possible. I actually can see how it would play out right now.
Not sure what the cause would be, but it'll probally turn out that they need ot lift something, but neither is strong enough to do it alone. So they do it toghether but whoever your romance is, the dialouge will play out like so.

I pretty much agree with you/Zall/Ravenstar, if she has a small part it would be really special to see her put herself on the line for others without being ordered to. It's cliche, yes, but just like in A New Hope, when it's done right, it's quite possibly the best "feel good" moment in the movie game.

It's not revenge, it's justice! Even before the indoctrination. It's also personal, yes, but he's a manipulative unethical human-supremist with evil-maniacal goals; the galaxy is better off without him. I hope that's a line in the epic speech you give right before you shoot that guddamn terrorist.

Having said that, I also hope you can end him together, or along with your 3rd squaddie. I think an ironic "leave you in the hell you created" would be epic under certain circumstances. Maybe as a few rachni bear down on him. A swarm of baby rachni! There we go.

Idk about a mohawk, but either way, being shaved at the sides is the visual representation of what Watts referred to as "she's still Jack and still kinda punk".

It's funny that he also says "maybe she's tired of walking around completely naked and maybe she'd grow her hair out". Now there's an interim I would have preferred to see in-game

Eh.The notion "Jack lil more grown up while still punk" will still be the basic direction Derek will give Matt. The ponytail comment I won't even take at face value until I've seen a finalized model.

From what we've seen in the newer gameplay trailers so far Tali and Legion haven't had any makeovers yet. It's just Garrus for the time being.

That was definitely Tali's ME2 model as a placeholder, same with Legion and Mordin and other devices in those vids. Shepard isn't really going to use the Arc Projector as a targetting device for the Normandy, for example.

He wasn't speaking in absolutes, though, that's true. We still have a long way to go but I'm going to expect the worse that she'll have a long mohawk or comb-over with pitch black hair and heavy eyeshadow.

She'd pull that off, too.

On the subject of Jack's new 'do in ME3, has anyone had a go at a fanart of her with the proposed 'ponytail/shaved sides' look?

Personally, I think it's a great move - a bit less 'in yer face' and aggressive to an extent, but more sultry on the hand, and aggressive in a different manner on the other.

Thanks - hadn't seen those in decent-enough quality before. Although you're right - ME2 concept art is spiffy an' all, but it's not as tantalising as new official ME3 pics.


How long before we start getting more screenshots of more of the characters, d'ya reckon? Perhaps some profile pics, concept art, that sort of thing. And ideally with everyone's favourite furniture-flinging reprobate in some of them, too...
