should be though like I posted before.. it's just dumb I think they were just too scared to go with any non-straight romances because of Fear of Fox News after ME1... it would make me feel a lot happier about Bioware if they relented on Jack in ME3 and let he be bi again instead of "turning straight to be a good girl" like they gave the impression in the story that bi is just a temporary thing, something thath appens a lot and it's kinda icky how often it happens characters get "fixed" from how they "used to be bi" as if it's some on/off switch like religious fundamentalist groups preach...

So I'm able to record again and I came up with this. It's basically how I view Jack feeling after she see's Shepard again for the first time in ME3. It's a bit incomplete, but I was just too excited to record again, so hopefully it sounds okay.

Meh. I'm kind of glad they didn't go the well-tread path of "classically 'unfeminine' woman must be gay/bi."

Miranda, on the other hand, was originally intended to be bisexual. I doubt the removal was because of Fox, however, considering they made the same dodge in ME1 with Ash and Kaidan.

I doubt they dodged anythign with Ash and Kiden, the idea of those characters having enough imagination for anything other than straight missionary is funny, they were made of cardboard

Also, has anyone else done a playthrough with a male Shepard who doesn't romance Jack? I sided with her in the loyalty conflict, turned down the renegade sex option, and had Shepard say that he wan't interested in a relationship. Its as close as ME2 will let me get to being friends with Jack and I'm curious to see what will happen in ME3 with this playthrough.

Or, hell, even if you didn't romance her... it still would've been nice if Jack went through the same motions of personal healing with FemShep. MShep got to see the full spectrum of that lady, and help her walk through those hard issues.

Femshep got a 'Hey. I don't do girls club stuff. If you know what I mean. So f off.'

I agree, even though she's my favorite LI option in ME2, I would have liked it if you could still pursue a deeper platonic relationship with her. Instead, the dialogue ends with her being somewhat apprehensive around you.

Its because her giant brown eyes can see your lying and that your shepard wants her. She doesn't care for the bullsh** and just wants you to get it over with.

Yeah that's one thing I didn't get about her. One thing she needs is a friend (even more than the romance in my opinion), regardless of their sex. I guess it comes down to gameplay limitations and such because most characters had less dialogue if not romanced, which is unfortunate, but Bioware stated they're working on the friendship path, so hopefully she can still get a meaningful friendship with Fem or Male Shepard.

I don't even view my Shepard's relationship with her as romantic, well not yet. He's not looking to push anything on her, but he does have feelings for her. They're development is probably the most sensitive out of all the relationships because of how she views them from past experiences. Plus, I don't like the whole argument of Jack needing Shepard's magical wand to fix her, that's not how I viewed their relationship or the cabin scene. To me, the romance scene fit well because it was seen as taking things slow and not forcing anything upon Jack because that's all she's ever experienced. With the dialogue, I think it's more to the point of them just being able to be there for each other (which is why there's a lack of dialogue in the scene; which is appropriate IMO) and for Jack to be able to embrace the warmth and love from Shepard and finally find someone who's honest with her.

So yeah, hopefully they develop both paths well and not leave anything out just because you're not romancing her, actually this should be with all the characters haha.

Going through the SM sort of shows her that everyone isn't out to get her, she can rely on people. For instance, if you have her do the biotic bubble she goes and calls Shepard (romanced or not) Commander.

I agree that the ME2 romance has Jack realizing that Shepard actually cares about her. ME3 really has her finding people that she can put her trust into other than him, she becomes more comfortable with that and the romance really develops into a deeper relationship.
