@Axl99

Methinks numero 3, but me also thinks that dresses don't really suit Jack, but if I had to pick then it would be number 3.

@Goat_Shepard

I'm loving the new avatar by the way!

Incidently, how do you upload avatar pictures that Bioware doesn't provide? Slurms is confused with the whole business :pinched:

Good Luck and Stay Safe B)

I was wondering the same thing.

Also, Jack in a dress is a hilarious idea, but I never see it happening. When people talk about Shep marrying LIs, I don't see that happening with Jack either. Image IPB

Here you go. Unfortunately, you need to own Dragon Age Origins for PC in order to do it, and I remember it took me quite a bit to get mine working.

EDIT:  Oh, here's one that shows you how to do it with the free character creator, and also how to do animated .gifs.

@Bobby

Thanks, but unfortunately I have neither Dragon Age for PC or the character creator, so I lucked out! Thanks anyway, though!

Ahh, but here's the thing: when you offer to confront TIM about what happened at Teltin, Jack says that isn't what she's after.

Well played good sir, well played. IIRC, earlier she does say that she's taking names and planning on going hunting, but I always take her first few convos with a grain of salt anyway.

Now TIM is indoctrinated, so revenge at this point would be silly. He simply must be taken out. That's why I think if and when there's a "take out TIM" mission, it's not centered on Jack, but you can take her with you and get some extra dialogue.

I would like nothing better than for Jack's role to be optional, and I'm not suggesting the goal for Shepard and Co wouldn't be to stop TIM because he's indoctinated. I just don't want Jack to be the one to pull the trigger, I don't want her going down that path, don't know where it leads.

And what's so bad about revenge in this instance, anyway? When someone does you a great injustice, what's so bad about keeping a level playing field?

In general revenge usually triggers an endless circle of violence, but I'll concede that this doesn't really apply here. I'm only concerned for Jack's mental health, maybe her killing TIM wont have any consquences for her we just don't know, I just wouldn't want to take that chance.

When Jack's off killing dumb mercs I'm sure she's getting the warm and fuzzies, It probably can't be helped. But it wouldn't sit right with me watching her blow TIM away, and then seeing this blissed out look on her face.

@BobbyTheI, thank you. I don't have DAO for the PC though. I might try the one with the free character creator, complicated as it seems.

I just dont like the look of jack with hair shaved was a perfect fit for her. Clothing changes are fine as i was not the biggest fan of either option.

We just gotta wait and see what Bioware comes up with. You never know, it might not even happen, she might stick with the buzz, but I highly doubt it. The anticipation is killing me hahaha, I want to see what she looks like, but part of me wants to wait and be surprised, until I pick up the game.

^^Agreed. I'm dying to see what they come up with, but unless we learn that she's becoming a Spectre, I'm more excited than anxious.

No doubt. She also says she'll have TIM's head for leading you into a trap, says she'll blow the Normandy up from the inside if you take too long giving her the data, and that she'll murder Miranda after the SM if you persuade the confrontation. She's physically and expressively threatening, but a good person who would rather scare you away than hurt you. If you take her first convos with a grain of salt, then make a judgement based on her actions, she gets the information she needs but chooses to go to the now abandoned torture/death camp where she grew up.

I would like nothing better than for Jack's role to be optional, and I'm not suggesting the goal for Shepard and Co wouldn't be to stop TIM because he's indoctinated. I just don't want Jack to be the one to pull the trigger, I don't want her going down that path, don't know where it leads.

It depends. You can't stop her from feeling joy in the knowledge that he's dead. You can keep her on board and she'll still find out you killed him and a smile will cross her face just like it'll cross mine. The moment during her loyalty mission where if you're renegade you say "A bullet in the head solves everything" and she says "I know that now" is IMO a big factor in whether she'll be more inclined to walk that path and be consumed by it (from a roleplaying perspective. I fully expect her to be "soft" no matter how renegade you were due to resource constraints).

In general revenge usually triggers an endless circle of violence, but I'll concede that this doesn't really apply here. I'm only concerned for Jack's mental health, maybe her killing TIM wont have any consquences for her we just don't know, I just wouldn't want to take that chance.

That's what you have to think about: the consequences. As you line up your shot between those shining blue orbs, think about the dozens and dozens of kidnapped children to be experimented on to death for the advancement of the human race. Think of the sprite little one-year-old Jacqueline being stolen from her loving mother to be tortured and abused for years and years. Think of the victims of Akuze, of Toombs getting thresher maw acid pumped into his veins for...idk why they did that, actually. Think of the Exogeni experiments with thorian creepers, of the experiments on peaceful, sentient rachni.  Think of Overlord, Ascension and Retribution, and then picture TIM sitting comfortably in his chair dragging on a cigarette as he tells you he only does what's necessary.

If Jack has a joyful blissed out look on her face after shooting that monster then it's more likely caused by the great service being done for the galaxy than by personal vengeance. He's now indoctrinated, so that's a double whammy. Jack should already be at peace knowing that even if TIM lives, his brain will lose cognitive function long before hers does. It's sort of like Sidonis paying the price for his betrayal, except Sidonis isn't a threat like TIM is.

Jack can just move in. Marriage is overrated, anyway, "Yeah, let's turn our wonderful relationship into a business contract" . My parents are divorced so I may be biased :D

I agree.

I'd actually want Jack to be involved in something biotic related, maybe Cerberus kidnapping another biotic prodigy or something.  Something triggering what she wouldn't want done to someone else, let alone a child.  I can see being nervous/anxious around children, but yet at peace in a way because it'll bring something new out of her.

In this fanfic(which is outstanding) http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6222882/1/ , there are a few moments where Jack is with a child (biotic prodigy) and it's basically describing what I wrote up above.

:devil: post got messed up <_<

 Alright Goat, you've swayed me, and I think I've been selling Jack short on this issue. But it was never a question on whether I believe TIM should be taken out or not, but the means to that end.

Yeah, I wonder if we'll get Gillian in Me3. Kai Leng is already confirmed, more or less. For some reasons I imagine Jack and Gillian could get along quite well.

No question he has to be taken out, I thought you were worried she would enjoy it too much and become Harbinger's dark apprentice.

Confirmed how?

@spiros

I'll put that ff on my list. Such a tender situation may be difficult to read through, though, I got a weak spot for kids :unsure:

Hey, no disagreeing. It's forbidden.

I too am waiting for the news. I think 8 is the magic number, and the VS, Liara, Vega, Garrus, Tali, Jack, Miranda, and a new squaddie would do nicely.

Virmire Survivor, Ashley or Kaidan.  Or Ashleykaidan.

I was hoping Vega was the only new squaddie but who knows. And I forgot to add Grunt to the mix, but who knows about him, too.

Ah, I see, that does make sense.

I wouldn't mind having an Elcor squaddie, though. You know, for the giggles.

You know Vega and a female squadmate will probably be the new squadmates. But you have too many girls on that list. Bioware likes to keep it around 50/50.

Well I wasn't taking it that far. lol

And now I've got Harbinger in all his infamous glory stuck in my head, so I guess I'll spread the pain around.

-------------------------

 (Secret meeting of the "super evil bad guys")

the ghost of Saren: I believe Balak has something to say.
Jack speaking to Harbinger in ship form: Oh by the way, how did you manage to get your fat ass through the door.
Harbinger is stuck in the door: Irrelevant!
ghost of Saren: Balak as something to say!
Jack: this should be good.
Balak smiles: As you all know, a few year ago I plotted to blow up a human colony....
Jack: And look how that turned out.
Saren: Enough!
Balak continues: And even though I failed, half of players let me go, and to top it all off, the Alliance has made little effort to find me. Hehe, I could be plotting to blow up Earth right now and nobody would be the wiser.
Saren sighs: We heard this a million times before.
Jack: Hey Balak I'm going to let you in on a little secret, STG tracked your whereabouts, they know you've been sulking in your moms basement ever since you fled Terra Nova.
Harbinger: this hurts you.
everyone laughs.
Jack: Oh like your one to talk, I haven't had a intelligent conversation with you since I joined this stupid group...
Harbinger interrupts: You are bacteria.
Saren: Not cool Harbinger, haven't you got someting to say for yourself?
Jack in a mocking tone: Of course he doesn't all he ever says is, "this hurts you", or "you feel this", and my personal favourite, "you only damage the vessel, you cannot hurt me" what are you, a child?
A stunned Harbinger says nothing.
Jack: And for a supposed "super" advanced sentient starship, you are pretty useless..........Jack continues her lecture.
A Reaper tear rolls down harbinger's cheek.
Jack sees this, she pulls out her shotgun and shoots him in the face.
Harbinger dies.
Jack: you guys are lame, I'm outta here.
And Jack became a galactic hero, when she revealed the key to defeating the Reapers. A stern lecture followed by a bullet to the head. The Reapers greatest weakness was there shame in being incompetent.
