The one with the black armband it seems "harder" to me for some reason and I think it fits her character better. Not that the white one is bad, I just think the one with the black arm brace was better, also the hair cut is better than the faux hawk ponytail they gave her.

That's actually where my eyes went first when I first loaded the picture, the armband. Don't know, maybe your term is fitting what went with my mindset, lol. I'm really hoping for one of those other outfits to be in game as well, they're too badass not to be, haha. Notice how her tattoo's are different on the other concepts as well, it looks like some eastern/Japanese tribal tattoo on her stomach. I love what the artists come up with, so I can't wait to see what she looks like in game.

As I wrote like 5-10 pages ago, do not mess up that face, she had one of the best face animations in ME2. She was also one of the more active people on the ship as well, so hopefully she still is consistent with her body language and all because it does speak volumes for me.

Second Lesson: How to go pirate again (consistency people!)
Third Lesson: Time to learn to throw **** everywhere! (and how to have good phrases "FLY ****!"

I think it's awesome that she has a few Mass Effect pieces, and a bunch of Sailor Moon Stuff.

Thanks! I'm such a geek aren't I?

BTW any of you grew up on adventure games? I'm also remaking King's Quest IV in VGA graphics.

I agree, her face and boy language was really well done, I hope they don't tamper with that. The only way they could make it better would be if they got andy serkis to do mocap for them, but as it stands, Jack has the best face and body language of ME2 and one of the best in all gaming history.

Student #1: M'am, why are we in a padded room?

Jack: 'Cause we're going to be thowing things today.

Student #2: M'am we haven't gone through the mnemonics for that move yet in our lecture.

Jack: Textbooks are one thing, I prefer a more...hands on approach. Right now, you guys aren't ready to go flinging folks around with your brains. But I can give you an example of what you can do with enough practice. Any volunteers?

Student #3
: (steps forward)

Jack: Alright Nick, hold still. (flares up her biotics and thows the student across the room) You alright kid?

Nick: (stands up) That was awesome!

I dont think they will screw up jacks face model knowing bioware they probably used the me2 model as a base and added to it

also is there a text mod that removes those awful shades from her DLC outfit? I love the outfit but the shades are just no...

It would be cool to have the black vest as an alternate outfit for Jack, but I kind of doubt we'll get one considering her limited role.

Still, I like her ME3 look much better than I thought I would, with Bioware saying they were going to soften her. Minus the hair, it might be better than her ME2 look.

You know, Jack's one of those characters that slowly grows on me--I like her a little more with each playthrough.  Same with Ashley, Thane, and Miranda--I didn't like any of them at first, but now they are my Space Bros.

Same with me (well, except for Miranda... she's never really grown on me for any of my playthroughs) - it's still one of my main regrets with ME2 that you can never be just "friends" with Jack if you're a MaleShep: it's either being lovers or "I don't wanna deal with you at all". :?

I was actually just talking about that in another thread; I wanted to be Jack's friend so badly, but she wouldn't let me. Not fair at all.

I also agree on the "she grows on you" thing; my first playthrough, I didn't like her at all, but by now she, along with Kasumi, is one of my favourite human squadmates.

Something that occured to me just recently.  If there is going to be a trial sequence as a device to establish the back story for ME3, it makes sense to me that the LI might send some kind of letter to Shepard before the trial as a kind of support.  It might make for a great dramatic atmosphere if the letter was read by the voice actor as Shepard is walking to the trial.

Shepard: (Looking at the data pad in his hand as he reads over the letter from Jack.)

Jack's Voice: "Shepard... ****, you know I'm not that good at this 'feelings' ****.  They just announced your trial date here, the bastards.  All the **** we went through to save their asses, and they decide to put you through a ****ing trial to look better."

James: (Steps up to the cell door.  His face is impassive, but there is some hesitation in his movements.) "Shepard. It's time."

Shepard: (Puts the data pad down and looks to Vega.  He tries to smile.) "About time, I was going to complain about the conditions here.  It's like a prison." (Stands up and walk towards the door.)

James: (Rolls his eyes and falls into step behind Shepard.  The two begin the walk down the hall to the shuttle.)

Shepard: (Rounds the corridor and sees a young biotic guard using her biotics to restrain a rowdy prisoner.)

Jack's Voice: "You deserve more then having those stuffed shirts trying to **** you over for something that had to be done.  I'm going out of my mind here... If it weren't for the kids I don't know what I would do.  Somehow they manage to keep me so worn out that I can barely summon up the energy to throw them across the room when they ****** me off."

Shepard: (After making his way through the main cell block of the prison, turns with Vega towards the administration wing.  From there it is only a short walk to the landing pad.)

James: (Speaking to the clerk at the entrance to the adminstration wing.) "Prisoner Shepard, transfering for trial."

Clerk: "Clearance granted Vega, go right on through."

Shepard: (Continues down the hall to the landing pad.)

Jack's Voice: "I should thank you for pushing me to come here, even though I still think that you were an ass for doing it.  I resented them at first.... The kids... They have it so much better than I did.  No experiments, no forced fights, no isolation.  It's neauseating sometimes to see their smiles, the little brats, but they have grown on me.  Some of the younger ones call me the Crazy Bald Lady, I used to scare them by using my shockwave skill to blow trees out of the way on class field trips.  cocky little ****s are'nt scared of me any more though, they think I'm some kind of hero after I threw a charging bear off a cliff.  Some of the girls started trying to dress like me, till the administration told me that I had to dress more 'conservatively'.  I told them to go **** themselves, but they insisted so I gave in.... For the kids you know.... I have to think about the kids.  **** Shepard is this like what you go through?  No wonder you like your privacy."

Shepard: (Waits at the door to the landing pad as Vega opens it.)

James: "From here it'll take about ten minutes to get to the court room.  You ready?"

Shepard: (Nods) "Ready as I'll ever be.  Let's go." (The two walk to the open door of the shuttle.  After they board, both Shepard and Vega strap in and wait for take off.)

I'll try to finish this later after I get some sleep and if you guys want me to.

Given the choice. Would you rather have Jack take the Biotic kids and hide someplace safe or should Jack and the kids be added to your war assets and help finish the fight? What kind of dialog would such a scene have? Would Jack even accept considering she's not much of a runner but may feel protective of the kids (remember, she always thought she had the worst in Pragia, she was horrified to know that she was one of the lucky ones)

I'm still vacillating on this issue. They're in their late teens, so they're not exactly "child" soldiers, but I'm not sure the strength of a few biotic punks is a reasonable exchange for what will almost certainly be (some of) their lives.

As for Jack...I honestly don't know how she'd take either decision. It's guaranteed she'll snark at Shep (especially if Shep has her shacked up like a hermit), but, depending on the relationship previous, she'd probably respect whatever judgement.

Continuing on from my previous post.

Shepard: (Looks out the shuttle window at the landscape.  There is a slight hum from the engines as the shuttle gently takes off.)

Jack's Voice: "They're always asking me about you, what it was like to work along side 'The Shepard'.  At first, none of them would believe me when I told them about what we did on the Normandy.  Those ****ers in administration have been telling the kids not to take anything I say about you seriously.  I have been so close to beating the **** out of this one teacher so many times for calling you a liar.... But it doesn't matter anymore, the kids believe me, hell even some of the other staff believe me.  That's probably the only thing that is keeping them from sending me back to prison.... well that and Anderson watching out for my ass.  Thanks for asking him to look out for me by the way."

Shepard: (Can see the large Aliance complex off in the distance.  The building seems to grow as the shuttle closes the distance between the them.)

James: "It's not right sir, what they are doing to you.  They should be backing you all the way, not just for our sakes, but for the entire galaxy."

Shepard: "There're doing what they have to in order to ensure that we will be able to save the galaxy, James.  I don't have to like it, but I do agree with it.  If my going to jail prevents war with the Batarians, then that is what I have to do."

James: "If you say so sir."

Shepard: (Does not reply, but instead returns to gazing out the window.  The Aliance building has grown visibly larger through the window.)

Jack's Voice: "The kids thought it was the '****' when they learned you and I were together.  Hell, if nothing else, it made the boys in my class respect me more.  Or maybe it's just fear that 'The Shepard' will come and crack their skulls if they don't behave. I...  I watch them sometimes from the classroom as they are out in the field durring recess and lunch.  It reminds me so much of when I was in my cell on Pragia... Shepard they are out there eating with their friends, playing sports with their biotics... It's just like being back in that hell hole.  But... They are happy... When they eat, they are shouting and joking with the kids sitting near them; not cowering in fear while they whisper quietly, terrified of the Cerberus guards."

Shepard: (Can feel the shuttle slow to a stop as the arrive at their destination.)

James: "Here we are sir."

(The two men unstrap themselves, open the shuttle door and procees to enter the building.)

Jack's Voice: "The sports that they play are not mock combat drills, but instead tag and other children's games.  When they are hurt and bleed it's because it was an accident, not because they were pushed to fight one another.  Their families come and visit them, eat with them, play with them!  They are human, and ****ing know it.  The staff doesn't tell them night and day they are nothing more than unwanted cast offs.  Things to be experimented on so others can benifit.  They are people, not god damn tools!"

Shepard: (Sees Hackett waiting down the hall.  He salutes Shepard, who returns the gesture.  The Admiral falls into step behind Shepard and Vega.)

Jack's Voice: "But those ****ing Reapers are going to destroy all of that!  They are going to come here and destroy everything!  Those bastards are going to turn MY students into husks...  I can't let that happen Shepard.... not to my kids...  They have a chance to live the life I never got.... The life you only just gave me..."

Shepard: (Rounds the corner and sees Anderson waiting by the door to the court room.)

Jack's Voice: "So when you go in there, don't you ****ing dare back down."

Anderson: "I'm sorry about this Shepard, I wish it hadn't come to this."

Shepard: "I know you did your best Admiral."

Anderson: (Salutes.  Shepard returns it in kind.)

Jack's Voice: "Don't you dare tell them what they want to hear."

Anderson: "We've done the best we can to put a defence together.  I can't promiss much, but I can say you won't get the death penalty."

Shepard: (Nods and steps up to the door.)

Jack's Voice: "You give them hell Shepard.  Tell them about the ****ing nightmare that is knocking on their front door, waiting to **** them up the ass."

(The door opens, revealing the court room.  It is full of reporters, diplomats, and Aliance personel.  Some of the survivors of the original Normady are in the room, watching him, offering their support.)

Jack's Voice: "And always remember...."

Anderson: (Steps behind Shepard, Vega, and Hackett.) "It's time Shepard, lets get this over with.  I know you'll do fine."

Jack's Voice: "I love you."

Shepard: (Walks briskly towards his seat.  A cocky grin spreading across his face.)

________________________________________________________________________________________

Thank you guys for all your encouragment.  It really motives me to do a good job.  I only hope I did the characters justice.  Its been so long since I played Jack's romance in the game.  Please tell me what you think.

I agree, that was really well done. Sad though, especially this part:

Jack's Voice: "The sports that they play are not mock combat drills, but instead tag and other children's games. When they are hurt and bleed it's because it was an accident, not because they were pushed to fight one another. Their families come and visit them, eat with them, play with them! They are human, and ****ing know it. The staff doesn't tell them night and day they are nothing more than unwanted cast offs. Things to be experimented on so others can benifit. They are people, not god damn tools!"

I can just picture her staring out the window and not realizing she's smiling and then one of the kids pop in.

Kid: "Ms, are .. are you smiling?"

Jack: "Wait, What?" realizes what she's doing ... gives the kid an "angry" look.  Kid ends up running back outside wondering what just happened while Jack laughs to herself saying "What the **** did you do to me Shepard"

Fail at writing on my part, I'll stick to writing music, lmao.
