I'm confused. This forum doesn't say anything either way about whether or not we're allowed to post spoilers. One forum says "No Spoilers Allowed", and another says "Spoilers Allowed". I want to post a conversation between Shepard and Jack, but I don't know if I should.

Most other threads have jumped on the "spoilers allowed" wagon, so I guess we need to decide it, seeing as Slurms McKenzie haven't been active lately.

Use the option in...options that makes it so that your helmet is removed during conversation.  It gets kind of weird when you go from dialogue in to a combat scene and your helmet pops on to your head out of nowhere right when the game transitions between "dialogue" and "combat", but it's not worse than drinking booze through a breather or kissing someone through armor plating.

I really hope they didn't restrict the full romance scenes to only squad mates and the two new gay crew members, and that we can get some loving for our ME2 LI's. I didn't cheat on my ME1 LI, I simply moved on to someone that was a better fit. Don't punish me for it!

Ultenth, I'll just say that the Jack "romance scene", which isn't what I would call it, leaves a lot to be desired. It just ends, and you're like, "That's it?"

It happens if you wait too long to do the Grissom Academy mission. It's her ME3 "Bad End".

That is not hard to deduce... I was thinking more about the encounter with her after that. Is there one? Or she is just a normal phantom?

I haven't finished the game but I have about 13 hours in single player and I've only gotten to see Jack at the Grissom Academy and at the bar on the citadel. I love getting to see her no matter what, but each encounter always seems to leave me wanting more time with her. I want any sort of interaction possible. I really hope BW didnt drop the ball on this one. It's bad enough I cant have her full time on the Normandy.

I'd rather not be left with a sour taste in my mouth with this. I've been a Jack fan since I laid eyes on her my first ME2 playthrough a couple years ago. This is the final game for any sort of romance between Jack and Shepard I am assuming.

I find it funny, however. In ME1 all I really cared about was my Shepard, leveling his abilities and getting gear. But I've evolved, a great part of me enjoys this game because of Jack. It's odd when I think about it. I just absolutely love the character and want more. I'm hoping for more. Jack

It's not a rant at all. I can sympathize. There just isn't enough of Jack in ME3. Then again, there isn't enough of anyone's favorite ME2 squadmate in ME3. That's just ME3 being ME3. I also agree that favored characters can pull you out of being solely focused on Shepard. The plot revolves around him, but when there are other characters, you get a different and desirable perspective.

I have to agree I'm about at the same level of game play, roughly 14 hours and some change. I loved the Grissom Academy level and was bouncing up and down like crazy when I finally got the email to meet Jack at the bar. I'm really hoping there are at least another few scenes before everything is all said and done. It really feels like they are forcing the ME LIs on you a bit. If you waited to have a romance in ME2 short of carry overs (Garrus and Tali) you are going to be seriously disappointed.

I believe it was after the Cerberus attack on the Citadel.

I just met my lovely Jack again today. It was good to see her. I didn't care that everyone was watching, I had to kiss her right then. Unfortunately, times are a little tough right now and we both have jobs to do. No time for love, Dr. Jones.

Does anyone know if the meeting in Purgatory is the last time we get to see her? It is unfortunate that she does not have more of a presence, though at least what we do have is excellent.

Such a let down... it's on par with the horrible ending that Jack doesn't at least come up to your room before the fleets engage Earth.

I think I would have been better off buying SIMS 3 Showtime instead of Mass Effect 3 >:/ ... I'm very unmotivated to finish the game now, knowing just how futile it all is. What happens to Jack in the end by the way? Where is she? Where is Shepard if he somehow survives? I will write my own 'happy' ending as a fanfic if I have to.

Not one word is given of Jack before the final battle... like she wouldn't come to your ship to see you, the man who brought her up from the abyss of abuse, before going into the possible last battle of your existence? You have an 8 second convo with her and she mentions shes in the back protecting troops... says not to get killed cause she wants to get laid, then Shep says "I love you to" because obviously that's what she means but... ugh.

You get a much more romantic, better ending with Liara and that's just from a friendship. 

And when you see the actual ending you get even more mad.

In my opinion, Bioware games are the characters first, storytelling second, and gameplay third. Considering how many people dislike the way the first and second elements were treated, maybe I'm at least 2/3 right.
