Not one word is given of Jack before the final battle... like she wouldn't come to your ship to see you, the man who brought her up from the abyss of abuse, before going into the possible last battle of your existence? You have an 8 second convo with her and she mentions shes in the back protecting troops... says not to get killed cause she wants to get laid, then Shep says "I love you to" because obviously that's what she means but... ugh.
You get a much more romantic, better ending with Liara and that's just from a friendship.
And when you see the actual ending you get even more mad.

Look at all the Romance options. (I'm sure the Jacob lovers are pissed too, all 2 of them) But out of all of them they just...****ed me over man. I mean come on!! no scene at all, not even a little one! It wouldn't have been hard to put in in there
I really do. I really don't understand why they thought it would be cool to have Shep... whose with the entire fleet... sleep alone if you romanced Jack before going into certain doom. Like it's just another day and she's busy teaching or something? GTFO.

Exactly. It ****ing sucks how much emphasis BioWare has put on the ME1 romances, considering how they were pretty much absent for the entirety of ME2. Fans of Liara must be squealing in joy at how well things are going for them, while many of us are left in the dust.GothamLord wrote...
I'm not mad in the aspect that of all the ME2 based romances Jack really came out the best in terms of what happened to her and character development I think. Its certainly better than poor Jacob/Thane fans. However the rage boils back when I see compared to the ME1 characters being Liara, Ashley/Kaidan, Garrus or Tali, that all the ME2 romances pretty much got thrown to the side as just an afterthought. The ME1 romances really seems shoved down our throats. My first play through was with Jack and even then I could feel the obvious overtones that every scene with Ashley or Liara was hanging expected some sort of romance point to spring up.

The Jack romance may not have been the best, but look at it this way. If you get the ending where Shepard lives, she's one of the few romance options still around to enjoy the new peace with him.That's how I got myself to accept it anyway.
